  1. Absolutely no doubt about it, but we needed that one fucking yard and didn't have one fucking play ready to go. It was the old "run what we brung" mentality.
  2. We were fuckin' on Ohio State's one fucking yard line... Nice call, Sark, especially in light of all the successful tactics used to in the last two weeks by other teams to make that 1 fucking yard appear to be very easy to make.
  3. We don't need some fucking boy scout to try to motivate these lazy fucks. We need a kickass sonofabitch - and that ain't kellen m
  4. Throw a flag. Fucking refs
  5. Everyone does pick plays. That was shit call
  6. Put that in your playbook, Sark.
  7. Stupid fucking decision. Pin the Chiefs deep in their own territory, hope for a turnover or maybe a quick punt. At least they'd be 80+ yds from a TD. Stupid
  8. This motherfucker looks like a winner. Success at SMU and elsewhere. Has a big, in your face, kinda nose. From Ark. This is what you want if you're looking for a young up n comer. Prior to UConn, Lashlee helped Auburn to the 2013 SEC Championship, a BCS Championship berth and the 2016 Sugar Bowl, managing one of the more prolific offenses in college football during his tenure. The 2013-14 seasons were the best back-to-back offensively in Auburn history, and the 2014 squad set an Auburn record for total offense. Lashlee also served as the quarterbacks coach and demonstrated impressive ability to develop talent. In 2013, Auburn had the second biggest turnaround in college football history. Starting QB Nick Marshall did not practice until August, but Lashlee tutored the junior college transfer to 3,044 yards of total offense (1,976 passing, 1,068 rushing), 14 TD passes and 12 rushing TDs.
  9. Don't leave Chan Gailey and Bum Phillips out of the conversation. Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys have become the sports equivalent of an elephant graveyard for coaches. A few escaped, notably Sean Payton. Wouldn't be surprised if Jones approched him before his epic run with Drew Brees. That coulda been us. In fact, didn't the Cowboys have a shot at Brees and passed on him? In any case, I wouldn't be surprised if Payton told Jerry Thanks but no thanks. Jerry will never spring for a proven Super Bowl caliber coach. Never. Best we can hope for is a budding kick ass motherfucker. That could be a Witten type, maybe, but sure as not that lightweight Deion. Fuck him. The one quality I want to see in this new coach is someone big enough and mean enough to scare the fuck outta his players.
  10. Well Colorado got its ass kicked by BYU, so it's a sign fucking Sanders would be a perfect fit for Jones. At least we'll be getting high draft picks for a while. Regardless of who he hires, it's a good bet Jones will be doubling down on fucking up. Start the new thread - The God in Heaven, Make It Stop. Maybe he'll answer our prayers and Surly will get some respect
  11. He's superstitious. If I was a coach, I'd be concerned.
  12. I've seen instances where it looks like the coach has told his team "if they get the first down, let them run it in..."
  13. Too late now. A smart RB will stop at the one yard line.
  14. They ought to let 'em score a td on their next play, get the ball back
  15. Lots of room on the left side of that line
  16. another coach in need of Coaching Training. Take the three
  17. Fucking interference plain and simple. In the fucking end zone and the fucking announcers don't say a fucking word other than it was "underthrown". So fucking what! Fucking NFL
  18. Well, there's a fucking short yardage snap to the tight end. Fuck fuck fuck. Under center, btw
  19. I doubt Sark called that blitz. He might have known about it and didn't overrule his DC, in which case I suppose it's his fault. That's the thing about having a coordinator - there are times the HC has to step in. If Sark knew, then maybe he learned a lesson.
  20. Wor Worst case scenario there is you have OSU pinned at their own one with a couple of min left. Doubt if they'd have passed. We would have gotten the ball right back. Who knows, maybe a quick pick six. Anything coulda happened and this was one great defense.
  21. You gotta look at a fumble (especially that one) by a star QB as a fluke. You can't let that influence your play call. Good bet he's had plenty of expert advice on taking the snap under center (inluding from two Super Bowl winners). Hell, they probably called him after that game to rib him about it.
