  1. We're gonna average 40pts a game next year, maybe more. If PK stays, our fucking D will kick ass again. Can an inexperienced QB take us to the promised land? By the end of the year, a healthy Manning could be one of the best QBs in the country. These last two years with Quinn were just warm ups for the greatness to come to this program. It's gonna be awesome
  2. 7 points in the first half. 7 pts in the second. A mobile QB with a strong arm, Manning, gets you an additional 10 each half, minimum. That would be Texas 34 with our D. OSU wouldn't have stood a chance. We could be heavily favored against ND next week. Guess Sark decided he could win it all this season without a mobile QB - a completely stupid assessment which he forced on this team and its fans. With all the other stupid calls he's made this year, it looks like he still has some things to learn about football (underscored by that lateral from the one). He can call an offense at a fairly high level, but he needs an OC to give him time to absorb all the other shit - when to kick FGs, and when to punt, for example. He could still second guess his OC. It's a win-win situation.
  3. Like I said, he's just an okay QB. A cog. We all subconsciously new this day was coming. Arch shoulda been getting solid reps since mid season and probably should replaced Ewers before the Georgia, or at least the Clemson Game. We came close tonight. With a better QB we likely would have won.
  4. I'm adding a FB and putting the QB under center on short yardage.
  5. 7 second half points. I'm noticing a pattern here
  6. Shitty play calling from the one. Take back that 7yd pitchout and have Manning run a bootleg right. TD for sure. Sark will not call Ewer's number. Ewers was a cog in a machine.. He was never really a take command of the ballgame type of QB. And he got us where he got us last year. Always the bridesmaid syndrome.
  7. We had the go=ahead drive going which then fell flat on its face. Couple of bad play calls and then that overthrow to Bolden. We gotta get past that shit
  8. A TD drive here and I think we win this sucker. Just a feeling
  9. That ought to put a little extra adrenaline into the D Line. Sack the fuck out of the QB!
  10. Mr. Blue! Ewers gets it done. Gets rid of that ball! Holy fuck!!
  11. Ewers isn't capable of moving around and waiting for someone to get open
  12. Blue looks like a difference-maker. Also, the throw that Wingo dropped was a little behind him
  13. Bottom line so far: we shit away too many possessions with a QB who can't or won't move. Ewers scrambling instincts are pretty weak. He hung Helm out to dry on that high pass. On the pass down the left sideline where the jersey was clearly grabbed - had the pass been anywhere near catchable, they probably would have called a foul. We've known all year that Manning's ability to scramble was probably gonna be needed to get us to the championship game, but we're probably gonna have to run with what brung us. The good news is we ain't out of it, but one scoring drive out of what? 6 or 7 possessions doesn't bode well. Something has to change and I have no fucking clue as to what that might be... unless we figured something out on our only scoring drive and we can unleash that in the second half. Hope springs eternal
  14. As I recall, Street threw wobbily passes (as did Staubach). Pretty sure the one to Big Play Peschel was no exception. Street didn't pass all that much and Peschel didn't catch all that many passes. Seems it was fourth down and a handful of yards and nobody expected what amounted to a bomb. Everybody's heart stopped when Street let fly. With two D-backs draped all over him, RP made the catch.
