  1. Tried two different feeds. Stream just got cut. Haven't seen this before. S/B back up shortly
  2. When there's 65 seconds left and youve got 3 TOs, you don't run off 15 seconds trying to save a TO
  3. Use your fucking time outs you morons. You can and will stop the clock with incomplete passes and sideline passes.
  4. Payton's coached for Jones, probably wouldn't touch that hillbilly turd with a ten foot pole.
  5. Pretty obvious that the D ain't the problem. We got a Dak/Kellen prob. Manifestations of the Jones/McCarthy sickness.
  6. Obviously Fat Mike studied the game films and prepared his coordinators for the day's game.
  7. It's gonna be up to Dak to get us on top and keep us on top with his running and his passing. This is a young team who's had some rest this week. Maybe they'll gel this weekend, kick some ass. The D remembers how to pressure the QB and gets some turnnovers. We storm thru the first playoff game, gain some swagger. Dak, Pollard and Zeke hitting on all eight cylinders gets us to the NFC championship where anything can happen. We get a couple of breaks... The league tells the refs that they want us in the SB and Boom, we make it to the big one! One can dream...
  8. You make it sound like Alabama ran the ball because they were blowing people out... How about Alabama was blowing people out because they ran the ball more? Not sure, just asking? FWIW, the Greg Davis philosophy was to crush other teams by running the ball, until the other team scores ONE touchdown, then you panic and pass the ball for the rest of the game. Sark's philosophy seems to be: Use heavy deception, roll up and down the field early, and jump up on opponents - then when we're ahead by 14, shut the deception down, go basic, and only go big with plays that have a small chance of working, i.e. long bombs. Once in the lead, or when trying to come back, forget play action on first or second down. Go shotgun and hand it off or pass it. And when it's third and two... never, ever put the QB under center. Pitchouts, swings? What the fuck are those? Pump fakes? Huh? And if you do try a swing, make sure you have a wideout standing around on that side so that the cornerback coving him can clog up the play. FWIW, I think offense was a little more interesting when the hash marks were set further apart. Then the "wide side of the field" was really wide. Kicking field goals had to be a little tougher. So what? I'm a little tired of seeing a fifty yarder being a gimme.
  9. So Sark was OC at Bama over the highest scoring offense in their history, or something like that??? After watching the Horn offense completely disappear for entire halves at critical times this year, I can't help but believe that it was Saban on the headset saying, "...okay, Steve, second down, Smith needs the ball... give me a flair to the strong side that takes advantage of that new Corner they just subbed..." and stuff like that on virtually every play Bama ran. Sark (Headset)(Looking at clipboard): "X-25 right, swing 3 yada yada."
  10. Del Conte: So tell me Nick, just between you and me... who called the plays this last season, you or Sark? Saban: Uh, yeah. It was Sark. Yeah, yeah. That's it. It was definitely Sark.
  11. Great coaching job. First year with TCU. Fuck fuck fuck
  12. It wasn't the first time we've seen it in this game.
  13. What an incredibly shitty call on third and two
  14. K State shoulda taken the three, and against Alabama, probably shouldn't have taken those time outs. Sub par coaching
  15. Worthy's 30 yards downfield and not looking for the ball
  16. And guess what. Sarkesian doesn't know how to do an onside kick...
  17. Good QB, good receivers. Also, this is a well-coached team.
