  1. The SEC won't expand west of us.
  2. At least it's a better idea than eating Deep South babies.
  3. Damn, you must have gotten mere steps away from Lincoln before pulling that trigger.
  4. Not just “No,” but “Fuck no!”
  5. Was listening to a segment on The Downbeat and Sirois was talking about "two eligible bachelors" on the show... Rhynes and Danny. I thought he was settled down with a 2-year-old, but maybe I missed something.
  6. Btw, did Danny get divorced again?
  7. I NEVER HEARD OF IT!
  8. I hadn't contributed in a while, but here's an entry from my first-grade boy: Son: “Can we go to Chicago this year?” Me: “I don’t think so, buddy.” Son: “I want to go to Chicago and flick ’The Bean.’” Wife: “Excuse me??” Son: “Millions of people go to Chicago every year to flick ‘The Bean.’” Wife: “Where did you hear that?!” Son: “YouTube.” Wife: “Bennett! Stop saying—“ Son: “FLICK ‘THE BEAN!!’”
  9. He entire account is a bit
  10. Pods are so 2021. Each team will have three different permeant rivalries. But agree the idea of us not playing A&M every year, and around Thanksgiving no less, is delusional.
  11. Tenn and Fla re rivals because both were good in the 90s, but historically, both schools deeper rivalries elsewhere. The same can be said for LSU and Alabama.
  12. I've posted this before, but this would maximize primary and secondary rivalries: Texas: Oklahoma, A&M, Arkansas Oklahoma: Texas, Mizzou, Kentucky A&M: Texas, LSU, Arkansas Mizzou: Oklahoma, Arkansas, South Carolina LSU: A&M, Ole Miss, Miss. St. Arkansas: Texas, A&M, Mizzou Miss St.: Ole Miss, Alabama, LSU Ole Miss: Miss. St., LSU, Vandy Alabama: Auburn, Tennessee, Miss. St. Auburn: Alabama, Georgia, Florida Tennessee: Vandy, Alabama, Kentucky Vanderbilt: Tennessee, Ole Miss, Kentucky Kentucky: Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma Georgia: Auburn, Florida, South Carolina South Carolina: Georgia, Florida, Mizzou Florida: Georgia, South Carolina, Auburn
  13. I'm fine with A&M hosting the first game back. We can play Arkie at home in even years and A&M in odd.
  14. The seasoned 1st South Carolina would have kicked the shit out of the mobilized orcs
  15. I think TCU is (/was?) Disciples of Christ, which I believe is a lot more chill and instrument-friendly than Church of Christ.
  16. It sounds like the allegation that we had something to do with the pipeline destruction is BS... but even it were true, I'd be totally fine with it.
  17. Geez, I have a diploma from SMU and live in Dallas, but had no idea the school had left the Methodist church.
  18. Source(s): Bro trust me this time for reals!!
  19. Harsh but fair
  20. Dallas Lutheran, I believe, which is in/near Lake Highlands
  21. [csb]A buddy of mine's company throws an annual crawfish boil, and last year had this guy out to do all the work/entertain. Not sure of he's always like this or only when he's "on," but he was a lot of fun to eat, drink, and shoot the shit with. He also scared the shit out of my 4-year-old girl when he offered to dance with her while a band played. Good times[/csb]
  22. Agreed. Would have rather kept the Pokes instead of one of the old Big 12 North schools, but whatever.
  23. You people are dreaming. As much as I'd love for OU to become a Nebraska-like has-been, they're too close in proximity to the North Texas recruiting hotbeds to become irrelevant for long. Additionally, when Nebraska left for the Big Ten, they abandoned that Texas recruiting pipeline. OU, on the other hand, will not only be able to continue to recruit Texas, but other SEC states more easily now.
