  1. I own a Martin Custom X Series 12-string (made in Mexico with the HPL back and sides) and it sounds really great, but I've been wanting to upgrade to something all solid wood, and that Guild F-1512 is on my shortlist. However, I've also recently started thinking about getting an electric 12-string. I don't know anything about the Reverend, but it looks great. I'm also really digging this Danelectro:
  2. So, I haven't been to ACL Fest in several years. Are they still selling 1- and 2-day passes? Or only 3-day?
  3. Pretty sure this isn't how you're supposed to do damage control.
  4. NRA? Seems like a bad fit considering her propensity to shoot herself in the foot.
  5. In for Sturgill, the rest is gravy.
  6. One of the biggest MAGA/Trumpers on my Facebook feed, a guy from my hometown, just posted this without the slightest bit of irony or self-awareness. I mean, this could be the damn MAGA playbook for fuck sake.
  7. woohoo!! Yes, let's go X Man 🤘
  8. LOL. I always thought "Trump Derangement Syndrome" describes the cult-like MAGA followers much more accurately than it does his detractors.
  9. And now some of them want to run for office. They stormed the US Capitol in 2021 - now they want to serve there
  10. House conservatives have a special group dedicated to preserving their power. Of course, it's called the FART team. "The publication reported that the Freedom Caucus does not expect any such maneuvers but is remaining vigilant just in case any of their colleagues try to be silent but deadly to their cause." Well played, MSN. ISWYDT.
  11. I don't get it either. My whole family votes Trump - both my sisters, their husbands, and most of their now voting-age kids, as well as my parents (who are in their 80s, so they're gonna vote R no matter what). But they're all otherwise intelligent, college-educated, successful people. They just flat-out refuse, for whatever reason, to see what the rest of us see. My oldest sister is the worst. She's full-on MAGA, and hangs around with like-minded people, belives in conspiracies, etc. It kills me. I've usually bitten my tongue, but she recently forwarded me Tucker Carlson's documentary on "what really happened on Jan. 6" (her words). I couldn't take it and finally lashed out, told her what I think of Tucker/Trump/MAGA. She asked me how I could support someone like Biden, who "sold our country out to China", Burisma, etc, etc. All the bullshit. I asked her how she could support someone who tried to overthrow an election and was found guilty of years of fraud and liable for rape. Her response? "IT'S ALL A WITCH HUNT!"... I give up. It makes me truly sad.
