that looks like you checked all the boxes - cabbage, collards, black-eyed peas, cornbread. i did it up in similar fashion, except my cabbage was in the form of cole slaw on pulled pork sandwiches.
Yep. Greens were a collard/turnip/mustard trio.

Sippin on this one today.
Tasty and easy drinking for 101 proof -
Crownandbuckle.com has some great NATO's and Barton straps are good. Love the quick change option.

Or even the bourbon trade thread in here.

Help me choose my next bottle. I just did a recon mission at the LS near my office. I've narrowed down the options to Harper 15, ETH Single Barrel, Pikesville Rye, or EC Barrel Proof. I'm leaning towards the EC but could be persuaded to go a different route.
They also have a few bottles of Blanton's left of the shelf. I'll probably grab one or two of those as well.
Fuck, get all of them. All great bottles.

Just did this. Not hard.This. just time consuming. Put up one on Christmas day by myself. Took about 3 hours.

That Blue Corn Cask Strength is a man’s drink. Good stuff, but, whoo!...watch out!
As good as the TB Bourbon is,
This one kicks its ass IMO.
My favorite Balcones.-

Chill at home with the wife and kid on NYE. Nice dinner, thinking NY Strips, baked potato, sautéed spinach. Good bottle of wine. Hopefully get some ass and be in bed a little after midnight.
NYD- black eyed peas, cornbread and collard/turnip greens. Watch football and Twilight Zone marathon on syfy. One of the best days of the year IMO.

They had their 1792 FP pick and some SAOS I heard. Only got confirmation on the 1792 though
-
I’ve heard NASA Liquor had some good store picks in this week.

Busted out the Alton Brown eggnog I made a few weeks ago.
Glorious.-

I normally don’t have a problem getting ER10 but I can’t remember the last time I saw it on the shelf.
TW will usually have it at the front desk and Spec’s and GG both have it in back and I ask for it. Same with Blanton’s and OWA.
Haven’t seen EHT SiB in forever, just small batch.

Good luck on the ER becoming your standard. That elixir is getting harder and harder to find. I've turned a dozen people on to it over the past few years. I royally fucked up on that one.
Hell even Buffalo Trace is hard to find sometimes.
Best thing anyone can do when you find the bourbon that you love and want it to be your daily drinker is to buy it every time you see it whether you need a bottle or not. Because chances are you will run out one day and won’t be able to find it for awhile.
Now if the millennials would just turn their attention to another spirit and leave bourbon alone, it would sort itself out and there’d be plenty of brown water for all of us.-

I'm liking MWND, but not the Christmas flavor bomb I was expecting. Still an outstanding $70 rye, pretty smooth.
Because I can't afford LeNell's Red Hook Rye, Handy remains the GOAT rye in my opinion. It's unexplainable how do that in a 6 year old rye.
Haven’t had Handy, but I had some M10 Rye the other night and that’s the best Rye I’ve had to date.
As good as MWND is, Angels Envy Finished Rye is better IMO.
And don’t sleep on Pikesville, hard to beat that one for the money. -
