  1. I am prefacing this with what I have been able to get under $30.  May not be able to get it all the time, but with determination and relationships I've built with store managers, I usually have these on hand under the $30 benchmark.  In order of preference:

    1. Henry McKenna Single Barrel BiB

    2. Weller 12

    3. Old Weller Antique

    4. Eagle Rare

    5. Buffalo Trace

    6. Larceny

Nope.  As good as ETL is, I'm not going to pay over $50 for it.  I will drink it all day long for retail and up to $50.  Too many other great bottles out there in that price range to overpay for stuff IMO.

Chili's is great for a typical family with younger kids. I loved Chili's growing up. Those bigmouth burgers were good. Would I really want to go there these days? Probably not. But if I did because someone wanted to, I'd have no issue finding something to eat.

I see Chilis as more of a reserved atmosphere for families and Applebees being the exact opposite. Most of the Applebees brings in a low hanging fruit crowd especially at night. Hell its pretty much a nightclub at many of them.

Spot on.  We go to Chili's as a family because of my 5 yr old.  He fucking loves their pizza on the kids menu.  My wife and I  get the free chips and salsa and will more often than not split a triple dipper.  In and out in about 30-45 min and the kid is happy and we spent less than $30.  I call that a win.

  4. Tell me more. Found one for $125. Not sure if I want to spend that type of money on it.

it’s really good but I’d honestly say it’s overpriced by about $60 or $70. I am really enjoying this bottle but I probably wouldn’t buy it again.
I would if it was priced comparable to OF 1920 which is a better pour.
  5. Picked up 2 more bottles of the Knob Creek 13 yr SiB today. Outstanding bottle for $40 at GG.
    One of them is for@thestud.
Grabbed a Balcones True Blue Cask Strength as well but really wanted the Blue Corn Bourbon.

Could be it.  I recall the tie cutting and a slide.

There was the Old San Francisco and Traildust at Walnut Hill/35.  Both were across from Don Carter's.  Old San Francisco is now a tit bar and the Trail Dust is a car dealership

Do it right and go to the grocery store too with a big giant list.  Then hit a bar, drink a beer or three, go to the grocery store and speed shop for the list.   I guaran-damn-tee that I can do a grocery shop trip, with every item on the list purchased in half the time (or less) than 99% of women.

    You following me every Sunday?

Suppose Nancy sees me coming out of the shower and decides to come on to me.  I'm looking good, got a luscious V of hair going through my chest pubes down to my ball fro.  She takes one look at me and goes "Oh, my God, I've had the old bull, now I want the young calf, " and she grabs me by the weiner.

  9. It’s not as fancy as others but we are happy with the extension and cover we did last year.
We had a budget of $15k for the backyard and between a new fence, patio extension and cover we spent just about all of it.
    Around $6500 for the patio.
