  1. I preferred the Wheated. But they are both good.
  2. you willing to ship the Weller to Dallas?
  3. Random musings from the backseat this morning. “Dirt is the Earth’s doodoo.”
  4. Those AE picks are great. Just about $10-15 overpriced IMO.
  5. Yep. Must be having a rough go of it to not do the show from home.
  6. Last one of the evening. Today was a good one.
  7. Hits just keep on coming today.
  8. Taking full advantage of not working today. 50 yr old Beam. Dusty as hell, surprisingly good. Best GTS in a long time. Can’t say enough good things about this bottle. Been waiting since July of last year to crack this one. It was worth the wait. Michter’s really knows their shit. It’s as good as their BS Rye. [emoji91][emoji91][emoji91] Turning 50 has been fun today.
  9. Very fucking cool! Except the fact you had to hang out with the ascot. 1st of the birthday pours today. [emoji1786][emoji1786][emoji1786]
  10. Well happy birthday to me! Wife totally surprised me. I don’t even want to how she did it.
  11. That’s not Superman. It’s SuperGirl.
  12. POS supporting a POS team. Karma motherfuckers.
  13. Some Pueblo chili chicken and some jalapeño cheddar sausage. For openers.
  14. Keeping it on the Bardstown train today, Killed a Destillaire. Such a good finished one. [emoji521]goodness. Glad I have one more of these.
  15. Decided to open the 50 year old Beam. Color is crazy. It smells great. The cork has seen better days but then again, so have I. Good fill amount considering. Waiting until Tuesday to taste it when it and I ate the same age. [emoji3]
  16. Backup may be a bad choice of words, I’ll be buying this on a regular basis. As a good daily drinker.
  17. For science. Between the 2 Origins, I have to go with the Wheated BiB. Although the Rye is surprisingly fruity. Both are very good. Backups of both will be procured. Disco #9 is complex as hell. It’s also delicious. Gonna need to spend some time with this one after my palate is fully back to 100%. Week off the brown stuff due to Covid has given me pause on how I’m tasting things.
  18. I’ve got opens that are over 5 years old and still taste great. Some I have moved to smaller bottles so there’s less oxygen but who really knows if that affects anything. Sunlight is your main enemy. Stored out of it, Bourbon ain’t going bad. I’ve got a Jim Beam Bowling Pin from 1977 that’s about 3/4 empty now that still tastes good. In summation, no need to rush to drink your bottles.
  19. We already have plans to do the boat rental. Can’t wait for that!
