  1. Telling swing voters that the Democratic agenda aligns with the far left is how we've gotten here. You're part of the problem you're decrying. Stop it.
  2. *echo
  3. No, not except immigration. One of the first things Harris did as VP was go on national television and tell immigrants not to come, Biden ramped up deportations, and the Dems negotiated an extremely conservative immigration bill that had the most racist republicans in Congress salivating before Trump ordered them to kill it.
  4. GOP propaganda gets negged, dipshit.
  5. I don't really believe Trump himself picked the formula, unless he's actually bought into the AI = god shit that Elon and Thiel believe. More likely, he just doesn't want people thinking that he outsourced his favorite policy to a bunch of underlings.
  6. A reminder that SCOTUS has always sucked.
  7. To be fair, Roberts essentially saying “what do you want us to do? Our jobs?!” is pretty much the most relatable he’s ever been.
  8. I am so sorry.
  9. It's not about whether the party moves left or right or manages to park itself right in some mythical "center." These are abstract concepts that serve more to confuse than clarify. They're not going to help you understand how politics works. There is not a single voter in this country who is a fully rational automaton who just goes into the voting booth and rationally chooses the candidate that proposes the optimal "centrist" policy mix. Most policies are completely immaterial to most voters. Every Texas Republican loved free trade until Trump started dumping on it. The Republican party dominates Texas because Texas politics have always been dominated by the "conservative" party. This is because we were a slave state that joined the confederacy and post-reconstruction the slave power reasserted political control of Texas. You see the same pattern in every other confederate state. It's not a coincidence that Democrats have had more success in fucking Kentucky and West Virginia, despite those states being much Trumpier in many ways. The remedy isn't progressive policies, because the remedy isn't a policy question. The remedy is making people hate Republicans.
  10. Don't do that. Push them in front of the bus instead.
  11. Two days ago. Followed by pages of responses explaining why that's a dumb question, to which you follow up just repeating the same question. What's going on man? Are you like the guy from Memento?
  12. We literally had this conversation two days ago.
  13. They've been running the unblocked Greg Davis WR screen that has worked two times out of two thousand (and when it worked it only worked because DBs ran into each other and fell down) since 1992. Meanwhile, every election some Republicans go "oh if only they'd run that unblocked Greg Davis WR screen more often they'd start winning." And, somehow, millions of dipshits believe the Republicans are being honest and are not just trying to convince Democrats to keep running the same shitty fucking play that they've easily stopped 1,998 out of 2,000 times.
  14. Humanely euthanized? Naw, fuck that.
  15. People are saying he tried to get a vibrator implanted in it and it malfunctioned and wrecked his dick.
  16. They literally always do this. "We're not going to let him distract us, we're going to focus on kitchen table issues that ordinary families care about" was said so fucking often by Democratic candidates over the last 10 years that I want to burn every fucking kitchen table on the planet to ash. You're confusing what activists with names you've never heard and random people you see on twitter have been saying with what Democratic candidates for office have been saying. Knock it off.
  17. Under no circumstances should anyone recommend the fucking All In podcast to anyone else.
  18. Mr. Rojo, sir, I am the Wallet Inspector. You must hand over your wallet to me for inspection.
  19. So John Roberts flipping his vote on the constitutionality of the mandate AND on the constitutionality of the Medicaid expansion (the latter of those being a literally absurd decision) because of obviously political concerns was in your view just him honestly ruling on what he thought the law commanded and not outcome-driven?
  20. Literally quoting John Roberts to defend John Roberts is fucking hilarious.
  21. You should read this: https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/21/politics/john-roberts-obamacare-the-chief/index.html
  22. It should be easy for you to cite the language from Section 3 of the 14th Amendment that left it to Congress to enforce, then.
  23. Nobody who is even passingly familiar with John Roberts would think he does this.
