  1. My friend is the voice of the Clemson band, who didn't get to make the trip because no band due to COVID. His texts indicate alcohol saturation is fast approaching.
  2. Ruckert is doing his Gronkowski while Clemson is clueless against him and Sermon. This could get more out of hand quickly if they score a touchdown coming out of the break.
  3. Please tell me that this picture was taken at 11:59 pm last night as a fond farewell to 2020.
  4. Yeah Sam, let's keep our foot on the gas pedal. It's bad enough with the shitty play calling from Mensa and the stooges, but these assclowns on the call make an ice pick to the ear sound rather comforting.
  5. Why would you want to play a true freshman who gained 95 yards in the first quarter? SMDH Tom and considering watching HGTV the rest of the night.
  6. Miami could be in the lead if any of their receivers had caught the balls that have been on target by the backup.
  7. That will be one way, non-stop, express for sure.😀
  8. Sending good thoughts to you and your girl. Having done this earlier this year, I advise spending a couple of three hours just holding her, saying what you need to say, shedding the tears, and then setting her free at the vet. Afterward, come back here and let the folks here console and comfort you. It did my heart a world of good following this plan as it will yours.
  9. The bane of every raccoon's existence right there! Good dog Charli. 😀
  10. Yeah, but inquiring minds want to know if you lasted 8 seconds and what you marked?😀
  11. Yeah, it's getting dusty in here. Probably dust from the wife running the vacuum-yeah, that's it.🤧
  12. 7am zoom meeting today from the May 25th Daily Reflection on progressive gratitude. The unique paradox that in order to keep the gift that keeps on giving you have to give it away spoke to me once again. I remembered the first meeting I attended back in 1993 and all of the long term sobriety that was sitting around that table. Each one of those folks shared what it was like, what happened, and what it is like now. I heard the solution, but did not take the actions suggested until five years later. The seed that was planted has been flowering for 22 years now and I gladly accept my responsibility to pay it back to each newcomer in our meetings and in service at local shelters where we take meetings. With each opportunity to help I remember how much it meant to me when I was the newcomer that the members in the first meeting spoke of a solution to a life that truly was unmanageable. I love you guys and there's not a damn thing you can do about it!
  13. Good boy Samson!! May you enjoy may more happy holidays with your family.
  14. Good boy Murphy! Sending you good thoughts in the coming days maninblack. May the good times shared with your canine kid comfort you in time of loss.
  15. "Good thing I got here just in time-they surely would have destroyed the rest of this fine automobile."
  16. His PTSD from '05 is almost completely healed so I'm sure he will have some salient comments.
  17. Which happened because of a made 20 yard FG being negated by an offsides penalty. After all, this is 2020 and shitty endings abound.
  18. Santa better watch his a$$ coming down that chimney-could get ugly.🙃

    Shane Buechele

The term student athlete applies here for sure.
  20. My father and Truman Spain roughnecked together in the late 40's. Both were known to indulge in an adult beverage with regularity. Daddy would get a whiskey fueled call from Spain after midnight once or twice a year in the 60's that would last over an hour. The stories those two could have told would have made a great book.

    Shane Buechele

Shane has been a great example on and off the field at two outstanding universities. I look forward to seeing what unfolds in this young man's future.
  22. Lawrence has serious competition for the Heisman but I agree with you. He is a more than adequate rushing qb and his decision making/ability to make all throws define him as what I consider the best player in CFB this year. ND had no answer for his ability to avoid the rush, move the chains, and hit the open receiver consistently. Big time player whose record in big games speaks for itself. Who knows what the voters are going to do here-after the decision to award the 2005 trophy to Reggie over Vince the significance factor went down the shitter for me. Loved it when Vince said no thanks in 2010 when offered the vacated 2005 award.
  23. Sigh. . . .that just kicked the good old days syndrome in for me.🙁
