  1. Christmas came on December 3 this year. 2020 has sucked for 338 days in a row, but on the 339th day, Thujone gave us all something to smile and laugh about.
  2. Reminds me of my boy Zeke who we said goodbye to a couple of months ago, especially since everytime I cooked bacon or anything else for that matter, he was ALWAYS right there on the ready for taste testing. 😁
  3. So you're saying Mango got the Fuck Around & Find Out treatment from the old man?
  4. While growing up in Corpus, I was driving down the beach listening to the game with a couple of friends bemoaning what would end a 22 game winning streak for Texas. Connie Alexander was doing the broadcast of this game and when the pass was completed, and the three of us celebrated with copious amounts of alcohol. One of the best days in my then 18 year old life.
  5. How could that not make you smile????????? SO much personality!!
  6. I subscribe to my brother in law's blog and thought this week's offering might be helpful to some of us in light of the pandemic. Any other ideas regarding what you are planning in terms of celebrating at a distance would be appreciated. https://drpatesblog.com/2020/11/21/how-to-have-a-virtual-thanksgiving/
  7. The wife and I are both retiring at the end of December. We have both been on Keto previously and had good results. Looking forward to being able to sample some of these wonderful recipes while at home. Thanks for posting this thread.
  8. I'm retiring in January and will definitely be going to Lucia Falls as well as many other places in the pacific northwest. Willow looks like she is truly in her element in this picture. Good girl!
  9. I was working at Caravan of Dreams when Razzoo's opened. Haven't been to the Sundance location since 1999 but have heard some bad reviews from friends who have. Usually go to Bryant Irvin once or twice a year and they do good work.
  10. Would that include freshly swept sheets?
  11. Good boy King. Having just gone through this responsible pet owner action, I will hold a good thought for you as you say goodbye to your sweet boy. He'll have Zeke, Bailey, Callie, and Magic there to greet him and you will have all of us who will sympathize with you.
  12. That would be closer to Sansom Park. And their Mexican food is some of the best in Tarrant County. I have been known to drive past ten Mexican restaurants on the Northside to go have their lunch offerings.
  13. Sorry to hear about that. Hope the dog gets better and is back to good health soon.
  14. Good boy Murphy! Your the apple of your daddy's eye so hang in there.
  15. Thanks for the link. Made a contribution and hope something positive comes out of this.
  16. Amazing how much their eyes match mine when I see a frosted pastry and glass of milk!!😄 Good puppies both.
  17. Damn, getting old is getting old!😀 Thanks for the correction.
  18. Never knew the ND quarterback was from Cedar Hill. Outside the red zone fumble, he was amazing and the team did just enough in all three phases to win the game. While Clemson was hamstrung by COVID quarantine for several starters, the Tigers came within 1:43 in regulation from being the winner. The 91 yard drive to tie it for ND, punctuated by the perfectly thrown deep ball, could not have been better orchestrated. While I was rooting for Clemson because of a friend's connection to the program, I came away very impressed by the effort ND gave and was reminded of what it was like to have a Texas team so many years ago playing and winning a matchup like this. Should they meet again the the ACC title game, I would expect Clemson to be at full strength and win the rematch.
  19. Terrible loss of life last night in my neighborhood. Street racing on Risinger road resulted in the death of a husband and wife along with one of the racers. Four children will not have their parents in their life because of this continual problem of speeding.
  20. Good boy Murphy. My son and daughter in law adopted an amputee when he was eight years old. I can tell you that their experience and the times I spent with Jake were some of the most enjoyable, fun loving, laughable, and enriching memories. Deej is spot on-Jake never knew he had three legs and lived a great life for five years after being adopted. He crossed the rainbow bridge in March this year. Murphy has a good dad and I know he will live life to the fullest, bringing you joy in the process.
  21. You can never go wrong with this here.
  22. You mean the look of you'd see if it was your 105 year old grandparent-that 7 human years for 1 dog year thing is a beyotch!!
