  1. Sounds like Doordash might be in order.

    Texas BBQ

Yeah, I'd head to the ER to immediately have my stomach pumped seeing this picture.
  3. So in what city is this neighborhood-looks like a place I would venture into and gain eleventeen pounds.
  4. Likewise-this ensemble cast all give amazing performances and the storyline holds up as mentioned. James Cromwell and David Strathairn gave the best performances of their careers in this one imho.
  5. And that is true, except you would have to change the name of the movie and it would only be availiable on xhamster, pornhub, etc.
  6. Godspeed Maalik and thank you for representing the University with class. The CFP would likely not have been possible without you. Go to UCLA and become another qb with UT ties who beats USC.
  7. Pictures of the bartender-asking for a friend.
  8. Those pics make me think it is worth a stop on the way to NM. That double meat brisket burger reminds me of the one served here in FW at Panther City BBQ.
  9. None of that matters based on the history of ATM athletics-it's the TURDITIONS like sawing varsity's horns off while homo erotically embracing your male ice cream man cheerleaders and squeezing your bb size testicles for old army. Besides, when this is your greatest strength, it has been the only strength they can look back on with their misplaced pride.
  10. Especially if you are an Aggie who won't TOLERATE TAUNTING TURDITIONS!! But you have to admit that going to a Rice football game pales in comparison to seeing the Marching Owl Band (MOB), a band that doesn't even march but NEVER fails to bring the LOL. My brother in law played in the MOB while getting his undergrad degree in bio-chemistry and joined the alumni band when the Owls got their first bowl bid in 55 years in 2006. He said that other than his retirement as CEO of St. Luke's hospital that this was one of his life's best highlights.
  11. All hat/no cattle describes the ending of this otherwise worth a watch movie. Cast was A+, story was intense at times, and I did stay for the last scene. Should have had "to be continued. . ." when it ended leaving too many outcomes unresolved.
  12. All of the warning signs needed by anyone who considers eating at this place. Talked to a buddy yesterday who had a chopped beef sammich there on Wednesday for $16. GTFO And white truffle potato salad hasn't been on any decent barbecue menu that I have ever seen in my lifetime, WTF. Nobody bats 1.000 and while Felipe Armenta has done well with the variety of restaurants under his flag, unless drastic changes are made to the menu, this place will be shuttered soon.
  13. The game paled in comparison to the halftime competition between these two bands.
  14. Can't go wrong here-never get tired of these great performances by so many.
  15. Same. The first one has me looking forward to this whole series and the actual battle scenes and newsreels are excellent.
  16. And those keyboard wizards and their never been relevant football team aren't even within ten light years from being considered for the CFP.
  17. I met his aunt last night while eating dinner. She saw my Longhorn logo and we had quite a conversation about her nephew-and she loved it when I called him a road grader.
  18. Beat me to it! Feldman's eyes never ceased to bring the lol.
  19. Andy's Automotive on NW 28th street has been my go to for my Genesis. His labor costs have consistently been lower than his competitors and he stands behind his work. though I've never had to return because he and his mechanics know how to turn a wrench and they have been in business for 40+ years. 817-708-2574. I bought my parts from RockAuto.com when I had the brakes and rotors replaced in May. The entire bill for parts and labor was $925 and the next closest competitor was over $2200. Mine is a 2013 with 165,000 miles and having a good shop as well as a good parts supplier has made it worth keeping up to OE standards.
  20. Saw that last night as well and agree.
  21. Watching PBS American Experience about the 1936 Berlin Olympics and getting a glimpse of some of the members of the rowing team has me looking forward to seeing the movie. I am going to read the book before going to the movie just as I did when I read Hillenbrand's Unbroken, the remarkable story of Louie Zamperini. A friend of mine who spends his summers in Puget Sound every year was telling me how this story still resonates with locals in Washington. Can't wait to experience this show and read this book.
  22. Bowman is already getting hyped for Saturday
  23. There is nothing that can equal the emotional/physical burden losing a child brings. I am going to make a point of reaching out to Lauren along with other members of our congregation and letting her know about the survivor groups that are a source of great comfort and encouragement. This is a journey no one wants to take and should not be taken alone-I could not and would not have made it without the support of my fellow travelers.
  24. This family belongs to the church I am a member of. I had coffee yesterday with a close friend of them and he was in a state of shock and sadness realizing that should Lauren recover, her husband and children are no longer alive. Having lost a son in 2021, I am acquainted with the deep sense of loss and grief that brings and am hoping she will somehow be able to receive the help I have found to go on living. May God be with her and those who love her.
  25. Diners, drive inns, and dives candidate that gets it. The barbecue chicken and catfish make this a good choice and the price makes it very attractive.
