  1. "Was a down year for in-state defensive linemen, now that we think about it. Jimbo is building a NATIONAL brand with the premier in-state SEC team, and we need guys that aren't afraid of competition. Not sure why they'd want to play in half-empty stadiums in the little 12."
  2. LSU Offense: "LSU defense, you guys are soooo amazing!!" LSU Defense: "We have been waiting YEARS for you to say this! Finally!"
  3. I get it. There’s just a lot of sloppiness this week and can’t afford that next week. Though, I won’t care how we play next week at all if we’re 1 point better than LSU.
  4. True but can’t really afford many mistakes against LSU
  5. Probably. I hope we don’t turtle up that much. Sick of that
  6. On the one hand, Ehlinger was from Westlake. On the other hand,Ash was from Benton. Ergo.
  7. Yep, they mentioned he was a five-star about 38 times last night... and I only watched one half.
  8. What kind of throwing motion is that? Is he still a take?
  9. "If Jimbo gives the young man his best presentation but the young man is more persuaded by the coach in Austin, then maybe the young man isn't a fit for us." True dat, sounds like he would fit right in in Austin.
  10. One of Herman’s top qualities, if not his top quality, is just how much he gets under A&M skins
  11. This is up there for post of the year, IMO. Unbelievable vision. Beautiful prose. Masterful execution.
  12. It depends how you define his job. Does he know anything about recruiting? Not really. Is he entertaining? Absolutely, in an extremely self-unaware way. Most of these $9.95ers are entertainers and nothing more, nothing less. Needless to say, despite being entertaining, everything he touches turns to ashes, so... he finds a way to ruin whatever he has/had going for him.
