  1. that's a whole lot of cartridge. Barnes is the correct bullet setup for the Weatherby. I use .416 Rigby. Have loaded Barnes 300 grains at 2700-2800 fps and it works like a charm on buff.

Mine was a 2007 GT3. Had a couple of those. Loved the platform. Nothing quite like 8400 redline.

Not the money shift. First was a twin turbo. Lost the water pipe(common problem) on a hot summer day, running flat out and as hard as I could against the other guys in my run group. Did not notice water temp gauge, did not notice check engine light, finally started losing power and looked down. Temp gauge pegged, got too hot. Second was the GT3. Also the water pipe. Junction came loose, sprayed coolant over rear tires, lost it in a turn, crashed and totaled. So not technically an engine, but the engine's fault.

I did PCA for many years. Drove GT3's and Turbos for about 10 years. Met some really fun people. The happy hours and dinners were almost as much fun as the driving. I lost a motor at TWS and one at TMS and that took the fun out of driving. When my daughter(no pic) turned 16, she started DEs and campaigned a 3 series BMW until she graduated from college. No telling how many sets of tires and brakes I put on that car. She kept her numbers, racing tires and helmet in the car at all times. She got a lot of street cred in the parking lots.
  5. My first job out of school was in Houston and a commission based job. After working about a year I became the top producer in the company. There were about 25 other salesmen/women at the time. So, I get the bright 23 year old idea to go talk to the owner. My speech was effectively, "I am making it rain, so pay me accordingly." Next day, the owner changed my market area and I no longer made it rain. Kept me like that for a month. Lesson was learned.
  6. Keep 1000 rounds of 9mm and 500 rounds of .45 acp in my truck at all times. Shoot at least 100 rounds per week doing various training exercises. 1000 rounds of .223, mostly Hornady 55 grain soft point. 600 rounds of my own reloads 30-06 in various Africa culling weights. One for deer sized game, one for wilde/zebra, one for eland/hippo/giraffe size. 100 rounds of my own reloads .416 Rigby for ele/buff. 20 boxes of .410 2 1/2 inch, 1/2 ounce for dove/quail 1000 rounds or so of miscellaneous .308, .243, .22 Mag, .38 Special, .357 Mag, .41 Mag, .44 Mag, .45 LC, etc...
  7. Built my ramp under a metal clothes line to get the right angle for my bike to land half way down a hill. Misjudged the launch angle and got 6 stitches in the chin from the clothes line. Parents were at work and my grandmother had to take me to the ER. Fun times.
  8. Assisted opening Benchmade knives for me. The clips are reversible for different pockets, left/right hand.
  9. #2, cheese, mayo and mustard, grilled jalapenos.
  10. For an old, this will take some time.
