  1. My Brother in Law was murdered in Arlington, my wife will never get over this. Her only brother, they were only 11 mos apart. I also had a fraternity brother was murdered in the West End. Both cold cases still. My BIL: Report Number: 000041939 Victim: Joseph Todd Quinton, 32 years old Location: 202 W. Pioneer Parkway (Pioneer Point Apartments) Synopsis: On July 18, 2000 the body of Joseph Quinton was discovered in his vehicle at Pioneer Point Apartments at 202 W. Pioneer Parkway. It was later determined that Quinton died from a gunshot wound.
  2. How exactly would you burglarize a house... on foot... wearing a t shirt and shorts? What could he have possibly taken from a house under construction that would fit in his short pockets. Unless he had a huge ass fanny pack we couldn't see or they were those fancy cargo shorts. He was harassed to the point where he was forced to act..and then was murdered.
  3. It's amazing to me people can see the exact same video and see completely different things.
  4. I was just saying my hair was starting to look like Ted from scrubs, so this hits close to home. Damn he was so funny on that show. RIP.
  5. I'm not buying the out for a jog thing, but these 2 dipshits should've never taken the law into their own hands in the first place.
  6. Yeah. I'm going to kill you pretty soon.
  7. Is it because these insist upon themselves?
  8. Tony Dalton has been great- the perfect mix of somewhat likeable and completely menacing. Rhea Seehorn is off the charts good. Really enjoying this season.
  9. This reminds me of a story one of my college roommates told me back in the day. He was working for Pepsi in Tulsa and they had a promotion where Hank Aaron was in town and went to the north side to visit with some underprivileged kids at a boys club or whatnot.. Hank gave a great speech on following your dreams, working hard, how he broke Babe Ruth's record etc..... at the end, he opened it up for questions. The first kid he called on said.. " All this time, I thought you was white, and Babe Ruth was black."
  10. No, I meant cut a deal with the feds. 🙄
  11. My daughter was talking about dying her hair black during the quarantine, just to see what she'd look like. Wife: With your light skin, you'll wind up looking nemo. Daughter: NEMO?! Are you serious?!! (we're both laughing loudly) Wife: Yes. You're too fair skinned. Daughter: I'm going to look like a little orange fish?? Wife: Why would you say that?
  12. With Navarro struggling with the drug war, why not get out? If your goal all along was just to save your family, they have every opportunity to quit now. What other leverage does Navarro have on them? Everyone Marty cares about lives with him. I like the show, but they got a little too far from the original premise. The angle that Wendy is "Heisenberging" this deal is a bit much.
  13. Frank was in the plot, he knew what the ultimate plan was with Helen. It was all a loyalty test for the Byrdes from Navarro. Ben is alive, some hobo was killed.
  14. Thank you. Here's the latest: As a result of a few inquiries that we have this week, I wanted to make the following points of clarification with regard to the Employee Emergency Compensation Program that was announced and specifically for those employees who have not already sacrificed with immediate pay reductions. First, the plan will not go into effect until the earliest of April 6th and, there will be no pay reduction for the paycheck received on that date. Second, it appears that Congress is very close to passing sweeping legislation to provide relief to both companies like ours and to individuals. It is a very complex bill with a lot of moving parts but our executive team is working around the clock to understand all of the implications related to our company and our employees. If we can determine ways to minimize the amount of sacrifice that we have asked everyone to make, we will do so and amend the plan accordingly. As soon as we know more and once the final legislation has passed, we will provide any updates on changes to our plan.
  15. I can't. Been here 21 years I need to keep working. After this shakes out there will be plenty of opportunities elsewhere, for now I need to stay employed.
  16. It's real. It's a family owned business, with locations in 6 states. They're just in full panic doing what they can to stay open.
  17. Then they'll just fire more people I guess. They've already cut 120.

My daughter in law's family all still live in Wynnewood so this hits close to home.
  19. I guess this is legal, not ethical for sure but.. just wanted to hear some thoughts on this.. The company just sent out an "emergency compensation" form they want us to sign that contains this condition. 1.Employee acknowledges and agrees to a temporary compensation reduction in line with the assistance it receives from the federal government related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Employee's base compensation rate will not be changed immediately but, to the extent that the federal government passes relief legislation that provides direct assistance to individuals, employee's compensation will be reduced by: (a) 100% of the government distribution for the individual; and (b) 50% of the government distribution for any dependent that the individual claims. --- So basically, an employee who has one dependent will receive $1700 in stimulus from the government ($1200 + $500 for the kid), the company will deduct $1450 from your paycheck.
  20. Dick move or smart business?
