  1. So nobody that’s played this century in the top 10? Ok boomer. The best players of all time all played this century.
  2. Good result for rest of the playoffs. Nobody wants to see Yelich-less Brewers get swept by the Dodgers.
  3. If Lester was still in charge, my concern level would be much higher.
  4. The Mets just went 100% full fucking Mets
  5. They look like the same team as last year, which was obviously pretty damn good. Don’t think Hurts is quite as good as Kyler and that’s gonna cost them an extra game or 2. Can’t wait to play them
  6. Jalen’s like shit, my defense ain’t bama
  7. Top Hitters in August by fWAR: AL: 1) Bregman (HOU), .404/.487 (insane)/.747, 2.2 fWAR 2) Seager (SEA), .323/.417/.699, 1.9 fWAR t3) Martinez (BOS), .394/.475/.768, 1.7 fWAR t3) Villar (BAL), .333/.424/.629, 1.7 fWAR t5) Trout (LAA), .283/.436/.598, 1.6 fWAR t5) Santana (CLE), .350/.472/.650, 1.6 fWAR NL: 1) Rendon (WAS), .394/.450/.712, 1.9 fWAR 2) Story (COL), .376/.435/.642, 1.7 fWAR 3) Realmuto (PHI), .295/.358/.590, 1.6 fWAR 4) Soto (WAS), .313/.414/.717, 1.5 fWAR t5) Marte (ARI), .356/.431/.611, 1.4 fWAR t5) Castellanos (CHC), .348/.385/.713, 1.4 fWAR t5) Arenado (COL), .337/.369/.733, 1.4 fWAR
  8. So Cook can replace Boyce now? That guy is not a Texas caliber player
  9. The Cubs are going in dry on Thor
  10. Well, he shoved tonight and has been awesome in the 2nd half.
  11. Pretty big 3 game set in Queens tonight with the Cubs in NY to play the Mets. Both teams were swept over the weekend.
  12. 40 homers for Mike Trout. He’s having just an insane season.
  13. Since the SLG is the same, I’ll assume each player amassed the same number of total bases. Since Player A had more hits (avg is higher), you can assume that they hit for less power than Player B, whether it be more singles or less XBH. Thus, Player B achieved the same number of TB with less hits while also making the same number of outs as Player A (equal OBP). I would probably take Player B who is likely to do more damage per AB than Player A.
  14. How many years will it be before aggy realizes the NFL resembles the Big 12 more and more each season? I’ll give it 10.
  15. That game is going as expected.
  16. Except it’s on March 26 so expect snow in Chicago, Cleveland, Cincy, etc.
  17. Well he did go deep again tonight so actually....
  18. One of the keys to the Mets second half run? Former Astro JD Davis, hitting .389/.464/.653 since the ASB
  19. Mets with one of the most unlikeliest walk offs I’ve ever seen. They are hot
  20. The Mets, despite all the dumb shit they have done this year, are one game out of the Wild Card. Won 13 of 14
