  1. It’s the one in Southlake Town Square.
  2. Darryl Kile had a heart attack in the hotel room, I feel like it’s something similar.
  3. That is incredibly sad. The Angels lost Nick Adenhart way too early as well a decade ago. RIP

Coors.
  5. I disagree. He’s 23, coming off an all star season and is entering his prime. Those are the assets you want to invest in
  6. Joey Gallo just hit a homer into the catwalks
  7. More hilarious ineptitude from MLB’s worst run franchise:
  8. Worst hitters through first half of the season: 1a) Castro (MIA), .229/.258/.309, -1.1 fWAR 1b) Alonso (CHW), .178/.275/.301, -1.1 fWAR 1c) Martin Jr. (BAL), .178/.232/.302, -1.1 fWAR 1d) Andujar (NYY), .128/.143/.128, -1.1fWAR (in only 12 games, very impressive) 5a) Davis (BAL), .170/.257/.287, -1.0 fWAR 5b) Mathis (TEX), .159/.217/.227, -1.0 fWAR 5c) Lagares (NYM), .182/.252/.263, -1.0 fWAR
  9. Literally zero teams would choose Altuve, who hasn’t been an elite player since 2017 and is in decline, over 25 year old Gallo who’s an MVP candidate and plays CF. Well maybe the Mets would.
  10. Rangers only 4.5 games back...starting to feel a lot like 2015!
  11. Altuve has less than a third of Danny Santana’s WAR but yeah wow he’s such a stud! Def would want him in his decline phase over prime Joey Gallo
  12. I wouldn’t count out the Twins if they get home field and trade for some relievers (they’re rumored with Will Smith). October baseball outside in Minnesota sounds miserable though.
  13. Division margin won’t matter when Jesse Chavez outduels Verlander and Danny Santana hits a go ahead triple in game 7 of the ALCS
  14. Wow talk about a sweat...
  15. Wow who wouldn’t want to play for a coach like this: Many of the issues Taggart inherited, they say, began with the coddling of Jameis Winston, the player who led the Noles to such remarkable heights under Fisher. Those issues eventually bled into a hands-off attitude with academics and placed the program at risk of not complying with NCAA standards and being ineligible to participate in championship events. Another former assistant under Fisher tells Bleacher Report that by the end of Fisher's reign, coaches were being given one mandate: "Keep the players eligible." When asked if that was indeed the overriding academic plan, Coburn admits, "It appears that was the case."
  16. Some other interesting factoids - the Blue Jays as a team currently have the lowest BABIP of all time at .268. The Padres currently have the highest K% of all time at 26.5%. The Twins, Mariners, Dodgers and Astros are all in the top 5 all-time in ISO. The Twins have the highest SLG of all time at .502.
