  1. Sec 5 AAU Big 12 5AAU Pac 4, 2 AAU
  2. They are spot on, they just didn't go into the politics of it all. Overriding theme: PAC did this to themselves at every step. And not in hindsight...wrong decisions at every step, fueled by arrogance and hubris. Mostly from Stanford and Cal, but some from shitty two-faced blockage from USC. Makes me angry, what could have been...UT should be in the PAC (old PAC). WAY more aligned with Cal, UCLA, USC, UW, OU UO than...Bamer? Vanderbilt? GA? MsSt., OlMiss, Missouri? UF? Souf Carolina? Auburn? Fuck that.
  3. If there's one school the Big 12 doesn't give a fuck about adding, it's ASU. They already have a slutU. Also, say hello to Big12 refs, you desert dwelling morons. They are going to open you up. Ask any UT fan. Tech, OkSt, Utah, Arizona won't be too worried about whatever you spit. EVERYONE else will hate you like the black death. Great intro. Welcome to the family, you lousy cunts. Also, byeeeeeee! Seriously, Arizona State is too good for the Big 12? Fucking hell. This is what's wrong with the PAC in a nutshell.
  4. Why wouldn't they be excited? They have been in the PAC#atnight for a long, long time.....
  5. That's the funniest shit I've ever seen. Cal cares less about its students than Stanford...and that's a lot less than atm, bamer or WVU does. This is one of, and not the only reason why, AAU sucks. These schools operate in very rarified research circles. They are not good educators. The 30-100 thousand students who attend and spend massive amounts of money at these schools are generally taught by student teachers, then by junior, non tenured professors. Think I'm wrong? Do you think those professors getting 10s of millions or 100s of millions of dollars for research are teaching 1 or 2 or 3k classes? They are not. Generally speaking, what the top 50 schools in the country consider education is exactly NOT education. It's a scam. And they know it. And don't care. Cry me a river, Cal. Manage your goddamn bills.
  6. UT OU UW Stanford Cal UCLA UO OK St Tech Ost Wst Az Azst Co Honestly, would have been bad ass. Could have expanded to add Utqah and another. Larry Scott and USC....Mostly Larry Scott for letting USC cuck him like a bitch and deny expansion knowing they were gone. USC is evil and California should hate them for bing cunts, and also for getting POWNED by Texas in the biggest game EVAH. And apparently, Larry Scott was a moron.
  7. It's amazing how quickly enormous debt is catching up with the entire left-coast all at once. Football, government and otherwise. Maybe you're not elite? Not smarter? Not better? Just throwing that out there. As someone who lived in the Carmel Valley for 20 years, I can tell you that just about everyone I met absolutely believes, without any doubt, that the 270 million people in the US who don't live in California are complete Neanderthals. Glad Cal and Stanford are cut adrift. Wish USC and UCLA were too, but I'll take what I can get.
  8. Or require them to play all females for 1 quarter for one of the games. You had me a females. Vodka shots is icing.
  9. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHIDIOT.
  10. Claptastic? Yes. You will never have an almost sell-out again.
  11. Schools and games in the 600k-2m range are valuable to networks. Top shows like succession get 2m viewers. To say there is no value there is pretty silly. Fucking cornhole is on espn pretty regularly, and network ratings are dog shit on saturday. Tournaments and college football are the ONLY Saturday draw. ESPN and Fox aren't a charity. If you want to know how fine tuned they are, look at the big12 deal and the lack of a pac deal. They aren't overspending. Content is scarce.
  12. A solution regarding MWC merger is the MWC inviting the remaining and rebranding as PAC and voiding all the Legals for the new league.
  13. Er...new BIG? Big 12 has as many AAU schools as the SEC and, hilariously, 3 more than the PAC. Big 12 = BIG-light!!!!!!!! Say hello to the second smartest conference in major college sports! Academic superiority hasn't done much for Stanford in terms of the new athletic landscape.
  14. Utah really is an entitled ugly girl. Nothing worse.
  15. I'm pretty sure the ACC, Fox and ESPN are all quite sure the ACC won't exist in 8 years. The top teams will get invites/mandates to BIGSEC: ND, Fst, Clem at least, and probably Miami and possibly UVA. Going a step farther, if ESPN/FOX decide to truly "tier 1" at that time, they could well orchestrate a super league by invitation only where vandy, rutgers, nwestern, etc are all not accepted, and the top 54 media draws are. The Big 12 media rights deal also conveniently expires in the same time frame, so the best 2-4 brands in the new big 18 or whatever would join the party. That timing means the SEC and BIG and FOX and ESPN can effectively divide up all of football for the most possible profit and get everyone else for 1-2 million a year.
  16. It's fact that everyone in Utah, and anyone who happens to be close to Utah, is a Mormon alien worshiper. *except for the drug addled washout teen epidemic. **aka anyone under 20 not on mission. Utah are the progressives...there are no aliens, but everything else is true, like Jebus in ancient Murica. Neg me, BYU fan. Dare you.
  17. 89 for 1tb. usually pull about 900gb/100dl
  18. It's amazing to me that BYU is now more digestible than UTAH. What a world.
  19. When I ski in Utah, the bars close at 10.
  20. It's not a matter of would the school accept. Of course they would if the alternative is big12 - the shame avoidance alone alone is worth an annual loss of 4 or 5 million. ESPN and FOX have no reason to offer, though. None. They don't need to "lock them up." There is no other alternative for those two schools, now or 10 years from now. There's no reason to overpay now when you know UO HAS to go to you whenever you beckon. The same holds true from UW/UOs point of view: there's no reason to take a diminished cut to join now, with a partial payout, if you know there is no option other than joining BIG in '32/33 at a full share. Msst, Miss, SC, Rutgers, Nwestern, Maryland, Illinois, Texas a&m, Vanderbilt... SEC/BIG will eventually get rid of them all. If you're not a brand, you're not Tier 1. TV speaks, and Vandy and their whistling fuck-sticks are gone...at some point the decision will be made to get rid of the hangers on...everywhere. I suspect in 203? Even in the SEC. Then there are tons of spots for qualified programs.
  21. Truly everything I needed for the next 3 weeks. Gawd it's been a million years since college football.
