  1. And those written questions were just yelling and screaming at him.
  2. Well, I would agree. But in my youthful experience, the coming down part was the lowest self loathing low I ever experienced. So there's that.
  3. Another vote for this. Going to give this a lot of thought. My excessive insistence in not being found guilty, being seen as good, as right, is in itself a depressing realization. Anton Chigur don't care about what I think.
  4. His football knowledge not even up to chick standard.
  5. Has this topic shown up in the MSM opinion musings? Seems kinda important.
  6. Phil - is your business limited to Texas?
  7. Dude - there are other places. You want everyone in California? Not crowded enough? PS I know you are a rational persona and are now just pulling my chain.
  8. I don't get this, or, I don't see it this way. Saying 1+1=3 is a lie, period. Believing it has nothing to do with it. A perspective that is reasonable and defensible, what the FL civic law calls fairly debatable, ok, not a lie. But just any foolishness does not qualify (as the courts have held in civic due process cases). You don't want to make a ruling without a clear bar, don't want to make it your judgement. I trust your judgement, Hayden
  9. If the D can't defend, it's worse than a who gives a fuck moment. It is a poor decision.
  10. I know that's a joke. But, really? Not the "do the right thing" Slorch I know.
  11. Pretty much all them, for both issues.
  12. Never heard of it. Wait, 3 or for posts up.
  13. Well, the simple fact is the French, and Italians, have about zero interest in US wines, at any price. Its not all transactional.
  14. Is this the part where you confess you don't believe in paying for any of the shit you get, and that society agrees to do collectively?
  15. It's a movement, I tell ya. And we olds will take any movement we can get.
  16. Gil From the outside, this could very well be rational perspective. Hell, I lived in CA a total of 15 years, 3 different stints. I liked it very much, my wife loved it. But when retiring, the analytics did indeed put a large penalty on moving to CA. And for someone who is not culturally attuned to LA, it can be a bad gig for the family side. Just sayin' that it is not a no brainer, or laughable that one would have reluctance.
  17. That's a pretty enjoyable rumor. But, BillinSintonwise, focusness on ISU!!!
  18. No, the real world as it is is always reason #1, for thinking human beings. I.e. non lawyers.
  19. Post about laying some $ on the ISU + 3 looks like a pretty good risk mitigation option. For competitive B12 matchups we need a greater than average favorable impact of turnovers and exceptional plays by our skill players. It can happen, and it has happened, but it can't be predicted. Based on the last half dozen games the outcome is a tossup. Based on this opponent, I think our win probability is less than 50%. Still, we can hope for getting more than our share of good stuff. Further, I have to think ISU's player mindset is much more favorable that that of Texas' players. I.e. their confidence in their ability to execute, and their focus.
  20. Probably won't have that stand around the house.
  21. That's why its the prediction. All this post game analysis is simply in the service of prediction, and we have the most robust predicitve model now that I have ever seen. We have to hope for random error in our favor.
  22. Glad to be in this spot. Could be 17- 6 tech at this point, or worse. Let's repeat the 2q a couple of more times.
