  1. This is impressive even by Turnip's standards: https://www.mediaite.com/trump/trump-spews-incomprehensible-stream-of-consciousness-the-level-of-that-circle-was-great/
  2. TIL there is something called Turd Stock. Then I learned there have been at least two of them
  3. I think they still have Saros at #1 but he’s hurt. God help them is Wedgewood is their #1.
  4. That first backhanded pass for the assist to Roope was gorgeous. Wedgewood is hot garbage. So glad he’s off our roster this season.
  5. Thanks for reminder to go back.
  6. Through the end of Season 2 now. What a fantastic show.
  7. AJ leaning hard into government manipulation of the weather
  8. We have zero proof that Melania has gone anywhere near Trump's micropeen in 18+ years
  9. Anybody got Jimmy Johnson's NFL Draft Value Chart? How many Haitians are Elon Musk and Piers Morgan worth? (I kid. I kid. Mostly.)
  10. He used them to eliminate a potential political rival. 4-D chess.
  11. That's a good point. More likely, he's simply their useful idiot.
  12. I'm joking for the most part but there was a time when that was pretty SOP. Isn't Jake mid-30's? Definitely when I was that age, the only slowing me down was having kids or other home responsibilities. I'm barely north of 50 now and have cut way back, especially during the week. My wife had to stop for health reasons six years ago and organically, I've pretty much cut out any drinking during the week unless there is a work event or something like that. We had some friends in town from SLC on Sun and last night for work and we drank at dinner on Sun and then took them to the Fair last night. I won't likely partake again until the Texas-OU party we're going to on Friday night. Then all bets are off for Saturday, of course. I'll be too hungover Sun to do anything. I will say that my college friends and other peers that never really slowed down after college have started dropping dead at 49-50. That seems to be about the point the human body gives up if you don't curb those bad behaviors. Knew I should probably start slowing down when I was having to taper habits pretty hard leading into my annual physical.
  13. Yeah, Tampa/St Petersburg is going to get a direct hit it appears. Let me tell you a fun wine insurance story. Chubb had a private client who had a ridiculous wine collection. Something happened to the climate control system in the cellar -- or it lost power or something from a storm -- and many of the labels came off the wine. This was very expensive wine that the guy no longer had any idea what was what. Chubb paid the claim to cover all the wine where the labels came off and took the wine. They threw one hell of an office party as employees opened all the bottles like mystery beer night!
  14. Yeah, I thought it was pretty accurate too right down to Otter needs to get back to the player he was. Something seemed off last year. He was still pretty good but just not quite as good as before last season. And I'm quite confident Nill will be aggressive at the deadline if there are needs (narrator: there always are). Call me sentimental but I would LOVE to see Pavs get the itch to play next spring, get into shape and rejoin the team late in the year for the playoffs and walk off into the sunset as a Cup champion.
  15. My kids used to go to Camp Ozark so my wife and I have done Hot Springs to death on pickup runs. I thought I'd heard they'd done a little updating to The Arlington but maybe not. The Waters is right up the street and is much, much nicer. We stayed there the last time, which was probably 3-4 years ago. Can't help you on the hiking -- we did the hike up the hill from The Arlington the first year we went. Made the decision to do it in flip-flops based on the dude at hotel saying it was no big deal. That was a monumental mistake. If we were to go back, I'd probably stay out at Lake Hamilton. Personally, I think I'd do a cabin at Broken Bow or something instead of Hot Springs.
