  1. He's a moron. I root for Clemson because my wife is a graduate who likes football and I like to get laid. Clemson is a Jekyll-and-Hyde team for sure. Klubnik has talent but seems rock-head stupid from time to time. As badly as Sellers clowned the Clemson D, the Tigers should've at least gotten that game to OT. We will see what SMU brings to Charlotte this weekend.
  2. Pretty sure HP hasn't had one since Matt Stafford (HP also has had way, way more FB success than Heights.)
  3. I can't believe there's a 5-star kid coming out of Alamo Heights
  4. Chicago 7 was fantastic. I'd forgotten Redmayne was in The Good Shepherd. I only saw it once and remember expecting much more.
  5. Interesting group. The D Mag cover art comes from Miss Pasta, which I raved about in the "Dallas | Italian" thread. It's fantastic in every way but one -- it's a loooooong way from my house. Here it is: Goldie's -- Lake Highlands bistro that went in space where RM 12:20 was located Tacos El Metro -- Mexico City-inspired taqueria next door to Step Up Lounge on Walnut Hill (where Goldie's couldn't be further away from, El Metro couldn't be closer) Sanjh -- Indian restaurant located in Irving Nikki Greek Bistro & Lounge -- on Lovers right by the Tollroad, brought to you by former Inwood Tavern/current The Ivy owners Nikki & Tom Georgalis (been meaning to check it out) Goodwins -- Middle Greenville joint that went in where the OG Blue Goose was for many years; neighborhood restaurant (leadership team has ties to The Grape, Neighborhood Services, Town Hearth, etc) Bali Street Cafe -- tiny Indonesian restaurant in Oak Lawn Pizzeria Carina -- great little pizza joint in Preston Center, owned by incredibly nice Ukrainian guy (I've hyped this place in the "Dallas | Pizza" thread) Mabo -- $200/person culinary experience/show from former Teppo head chef Masayuki Otaka in the Park Cities; would love to experience this once, I think Miss Pasta -- wonderful, no-frills Italian in Richardson from former food people behind Mille Lire (this place is just fantastic and I'm waiting for more locations closer to me -- I think the plan has always been to make this a multi-location concept) -- you stand in line to order and pasta comes out in paper bowls Nuri Steakhouse -- $20M personally-funded steakhouse on Cedar Springs from Smoothie King founder Wan Kim Meat Papi -- small BBQ operation over in Design District fusing Texas BBQ flavors with owner/chef's Venezuelan and Chicago roots; it's part of the Outfit Brewing group (definitely gonna check this place out

Assumed the rooftop would've been open by now. Need to get back over to Via Triozzi. Love that place. Look forward to the brewery too.
  7. Lanning is a hell of a coach. I love that we have Sark but Lanning is fantastic and I'd be ecstatic if he was HC of my favorite team.
  8. New SCOTUS Leak Reveals Who Didn’t Want Ethics Rules Enforced It was Clarence, Gorsuch and Alito. I am Jack's complete lack of surprise: https://www.thedailybeast.com/new-scotus-leak-reveals-who-didnt-want-ethics-rules-enforced/
  9. Dinesh D'Souza apologizes for false claims in election conspiracy theory film ‘2000 Mules’ Didn't know where to put this: https://ca.news.yahoo.com/dinesh-dsouza-apologizes-false-claims-150554547.html Fuck you, Dinesh.

  12. Can grifting for other people be considered a charity? Winning a bet with the loser paying off to a charity and then selecting a conservative PAC is certainly a choice. Especially at this time of year.
  13. When will Bob talk about the aggy/Texas game?
  14. Formatting got fucked up
  15. Have his rankings come out yet?

  19. Longhorns and Liverpool — it’s been a pretty satisfying last 18 hours.
  20. Even though he’s the enemy, I do love Pep — especially when we’re kicking his ass and about to go 11 points up on his club. The “six-finger” gesture to the Anfield crowd was awesome.
