  2. Not to pick nits but Illinois and Chicago claims Son Volt. I'm no fan of the Mavs and he's exhibited quite a bit of douchery over the years but the man's politics mostly line up with those of us in this thread. I'm sure he was hoping for Shapiro for the Jewish/Israel angle, though. Give him a few mins and he'll slot in 100% behind Harris/Walz.
  3. Weren't there also whispers of other improprieties involving Peyton and wimmens in Indy?
  4. Ran into "my" Central Market yesterday evening on NW Highway and noticed that Suze is shuttered. Read the notice on the door that the owner decided to call it quits after 24 years. We didn't go very often but it was uber-convenient if you wanted something nicer than Celebration that you could probably walk in and get a table or sit at the bar in relatively short order. At any rate, the note said the space will be re-imagined by the chef/team behind Beverly's Bistro, which is ironically where we went to brunch yesterday with my parents and in-laws. We've really enjoyed Beverly's Bistro and expect them to do something better with the patio than Suze.
  5. This won't matter one fucking bit. The Nick Fuentes dinner did nothing to hurt Trump's chances.
  6. An extremely long (but interesting) read in the New Yorker: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2024/08/12/robert-f-kennedy-jr-profile-presidential-campaign This the article RFKjr is discussing with Roseanne in the video posted above.

    The Boys S4

I remember the orgy scene. Forgot about the dickhole scene -- wasn't that the very first scene of the season. It'd been awhile since S3, I guess, so I'd forgotten. At any rate, seems like things really ramped up this season -- and maybe it was in S3.

    The Boys S4

Yeah, that was another one but that is so absurdly unpossible it doesn't quite hit like some of the other shit. It felt like this season was trying to go over-the-line just to go-over-the-line. There were similar scenes in previous seasons but rather than 3-4 truly shocking scenes per season, we got like 3-4 shocking scenes per episode.
  9. Gagree. The rolls are still top-notch, though. Any of the fried shit there is just way too greasy. I watched the John Oliver piece on him last night. At one time, he was a fantastic environmental attorney but somewhere along the way he went cuckoo for coconuts.
  10. I actually take that back. There is one house with a Biden sign that's been up for months. Forgot about that guy.
  11. He also drove his first wife to suicide. Yeah, that was my thought too. Through clenched teeth, she's like: "Why are you telling this story? And why are we recording it?" When you've lost Roseanne ...
  12. My wife and made a note to look for Trump signs driving through the Park Cities this weekend and we didn't see a single one. Of course we were on more of the major roads like Mockingbird or Lovers where the "poor" Parkies live so ... We are over by Love Field and there is one house with Trump signs on our entire daily 2+ mile walk route. Zero Biden or Harris signs.
  13. That's Kim Jong Il-level propaganda there. I remember those times when Dear Leader played a round of golf and made 18 hole-in-ones.
  14. Yeah, I went back and looked all that up right after the debate where Trump and Biden argued about golf skills. Pretty sure I posted in this thread or maybe one of the Trump threads. Trump was 62nd one year and around the same the next year. They were using the Stableford scoring system so I didn't know what his stroke average was -- 89.3 is much worse than I expected.
  15. He’s not bad — for a 78-year-old fat fuck.
  16. Trump hits his drives about 180-190 yards based on the DeChambeau challenge. He ain’t hitting PW 140 yards.
  17. Kyle is a post-birth abortion I'd be OK with
