Trump’s America
... and she's an insurance lawyer, at that. LOL.

Trump’s America
And this. I could never justify the cost.

Trump’s America
That's cool, and I know there are some golfers I'd like to hang out with.
-
Trump’s America
Yep. I've always thought I'd enjoy golf, the technical nature of it, the beautiful courses, fresh air, sunshine, etc. The biggest thing that always kept me from picking it up was knowing that I'd have to be around golfers to do it. Thanks, but I'll pass.

Trump’s America
Desperate. He knows more and more people can see right through him and know what he's done. Every word he says is him trying to convince them otherwise.

ICE activity/raids
This right here. Regimes like this always fall. It's just a matter of when.

Fucking POS, that dude. Karma's gonna be a real bitch to him.

Y’all going to look at the socials? Okay den let’s get our rapture on!
What if the rapture has already happened, and we just didn't notice, and all the good people have already been taken upstairs? Might make some sense of the mess we have ... ETA: Never mind. I see I was way too slow with that lol. Maybe COVID was the rapture.

Family friend at one of the local affilaites told me that TJH is the biggest local tv ad spender in SA, Austin, and Dallas. Probably more.- What impact will Trump have on the 2026 World Cup?
I was posting that more in reference to Trump incorrectly thinking Chicago is hosting the WC (shocking, I know), but yeah ...- Trump’s America
Yeah the cheapest I could find in SW Austin the last couple of days was $2.69 for Regular and $3.79 for Premium. $1.79 my ass. Average price right now is $3.16. The lies know no end. ETA: I can't find where he said it's $1.79, but in May he said it was $1.98 when people were paying about $3.16 on average at the pump (same as now). So, what he was doing there is quoting a futures price of unfinished gasoline on the 'RBOB', not the pump price. At best, it's slimy and disingenuous. Really though, it's just a lie. https://www.cnbc.com/2025/05/05/where-trump-is-likely-getting-his-1point98-gas-price-figure.html- Trump’s America
The newest polling data from the Associated Press and National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago found that 49% of Republicans think that the United States is heading in the right direction, which was down from 75% in June. https://apnews.com/projects/polling-tracker/- What impact will Trump have on the 2026 World Cup?
He also said he'd move the WC out of Chicago if he thought it wasn't safe.- Trump’s America
He also said that we're currently experiencing record non-inflationary growth right now. "There's no inflation", he says repeatedly, like a Jedi mind trick. I guess we're all just imagining the high prices we're paying. Gets worse every time I go to HEB (when it's open).- The children are gone
Oh gotcha. So Trump gets to be on the wall twice ... because of course he does in this fucking insidious timeline.- Formula 1 2025
Would you characterize it as ... inflammatory? OK. I'll show myself out now.- The children are gone
Trump to the left and the right of the signature pic? Is that whole wall Trump photos? Imagine being one of the people who's a career White House staffer, seeing the traditions of the White House getting shit on day and night. If you haven't seen The Residence yet, I highly recommend it. It's a great whodunit, and I think it's probably a great representation of how the WH staff looks at goings-on in the residence. It's also, imho, an allegorical, thinly veiled reference to Trump hating American & its institutions, and shitting all over them. That's probably the real reason it got canceled imho.- Formula 1 2025
Yeah I hate that fucker too, but the only reason he's in F1 at all is to sell Haas machine tools to a broader, more international market and to network in the paddock. IMHO as long as he's the owner, 'Haas' will be on the cars.- Will you still live in the U.S. in 20 years?
I'm 60, and almost everyone we know that's in our age group is anti-Trump. The only Trumpies we know are one friend a little older than me, the nextdoor neighbor who's a little younger, and older relatives of ours and our friends who are in their 70s, 80s, and 90s ... who really should fucking know better. But we're in Austin.- Will you still live in the U.S. in 20 years?
Yeah I've never even remotely considered moving for political reasons until Trump's second term. Now I'm thinking about it all the time. I do think there are some signs of the tide slowly starting to turn though.- Charlie Kirk got ded, Erika Kirk grifts in place
Yep. He's not wrong. I said it on day 1 when Trump started making these demands, that the businesses, universities etc would be smarter to tell him to fuck off, federal funding or not. Say 'we'll see you in court'. Yes, they might take a hit in terms of Federal funding, but they'd recover and learn to live without it. Most importantly, they'd be back in control of their own destinies. The bully will never be satisfied & will never go away until you put up a fight. Once you do fight back, they'll quit like the gaping pussies that they are.- Formula 1 2025
Toyota is already Haas's technical partner. I've been thinking for a while that Toyota will take a larger role in the team moving forward. That makes Horner's move there make some sense imho, if he is indeed headed there.- CoTA sounds like it sucks
What is that ... an amusement park for ants?- Charlie Kirk got ded, Erika Kirk grifts in place
