  1. Yep. These things matter a great deal to most Americans, Republican or Democrat, Conservative, Moderate, or Liberal. I predicted that we'd see more and more conservatives coming forward to express their disgust, but I feared at least a little bit that it might not happen. I'm extremely gratified to see it happening, and I hope this is just the beginning.
  2. I think Trump just didnt push the story far enough. He should have gone for eating babies. Not the unborn babies. No, they eat babies right after they are born. Because post-birth abortion is legal in those states. That's why they eat them. The babies. - Jack Handey
  3. I think that chick is probably the smartest person in the room in just about any room she enters. She impresses me every time. It's like she knows what people are going to say before they even know, and she already has a response ready before they even say it.
  4. I'm 59 years old, and I've watched every presidential debate in my voting-age life. I can honestly say that what I saw tonight was easily the most dominant performance by one candidate over the other that I've ever seen. It's not even close. Harris completely destroyed Trump, without really trying that hard. She just let him talk, and out came all the craziness one could imagine, and more. I agree that that won't swing Trump's base, but nothing ever will swing these people. They are not dealing in reality. It will have an effect with moderate Republicans and undecided voters though. How much of an effect? Who knows. Also having an effect will be people like Dick and Liz Cheney endorsing Harris, Bush declining to endorse Trump, Judge Luttig and multiple generals accurately calling Trump a threat to our Democracy, the 200+ Republican former White House staffers endorsing Harris, etc, etc. It all adds up, and imho Trump/Vance will have a difficult time beating Harris/Walz. And yeah re: those stupid bastards being allowed to vote, I wish we could somehow let all the nutjob extremists go at each other until they're all gone, and let the grownups in the middle (which I believe is the majority) run this shit.
  5. Seriously. How the fuck can anyone be undecided even before watching that asskicking?
  6. So, let's just pretend for a moment that the 'immigrants eating pets' thing is true. I know, I know. It's lunacy, but bear with me. How do the people reporting these incidents know the people who stole their dogs or cats were immigrants, or illegal, etc? Did they have 'illegal immigrant' signs on their backs? How do they know? Of course, it's all made up nonsense, but I can't believe nobody is asking that question.
  7. Tonight I learned that I need to bring my dogs & cats in tonight so the roving hordes of migrant criminals don't scoop them up and eat them. So I got that goin' for me.
  8. Anyone have a count of how many times he's played the 'Millions of migrant criminals' card?
  9. Holy shit. This is one of the most entertaining things I've ever seen.
  10. Kinda what I thought too, but I haven't seen as many of our sets this year as y'all have. I thought Carlson's set location was supposed to be her strength, and that was supposed to be why there's a setting competition right now in the first place, but so far I haven't seen that consistency materialize. She obviously puts up a weaker block than Ella. Add that to the inexperienced middles, and it gets ugly in a hurry. I don't see that she's bringing enough with her setting to offset that, and like you said, Ella already has chemistry with Madi and others. Also, I'm not sure why my fingers spelled it 'Maddy' instead of 'Madi' earlier. That is not what I told them to do.
  11. So, Aston Martin news conference tomorrow ...
  12. Yep. Let's not start sucking Matt Rhule's dick just yet for doing exactly what any decent team should have done. Is Nebraska decent now? Maybe. Maybe even good, but it was Colorado, in Lincoln. Time will tell how good Nebraska really is. My guess is that in time - like I said about ND after they beat aggy - we'll probably find out that Nebraska isn't very good either.
  13. They should have played Shedeur's song after the Pick 6.
  14. Yeah I did the same thing at first. It's crazy that it doesn't come up when you just enter 'victory'.
  15. I dunno ... as long as Jerruh is around, and probably a few others, there's always someone stupid enough to gleefully overspend on locker room killing players like the Sanders boys.
  16. As a huge F1 and MLB fan, I'm not arguing with you, for sure, but they're all very difficult to do at a high level. I think maybe they're the 3 toughest things in sports.
  17. Which way is she missing? In/out/up/down/off/tight, or just all over the place? I thought she seemed to be setting Madi too tight fairly regularly vs Minny. And yeah, I've been saying since last year that Jenna should only play back row when absolutely necessary.
  18. So, by set, who was setting the most? Particularly those last 3 sets? I didn't see the match yet. For me the bottom line is who the setter is when we're losing and who the setter is when we're winning. Full disclosure, I'm Team Ella too.
  19. Yeah I remember it being mostly if not entirely rumor derived from interpreting the technical directive about it. The theory was that they had some kind of illegal device that skirted the rules and the FIA quietly told them to cut it out, and then later issued a rule clarification that also said several teams were working on similar concepts. The bottom line is that the teams were skirting the rules and the test to get their wing to stall at speed and allow them to run higher downforce as a consequence, while still passing the deflection test. Been done repeatedly over the years, resulting in rule clarifications walking them back. Until now. They're still skirting the rules and the test now - designing the wing in such a way that it passes the test but still breaks the rule, twisting and dropping at speed, stalling the wing. But now it's ok.
  20. Travis Hunter is a big-time player, but without him and Sanders, this CU team has nada. I'm not sure Sanders is all that good anyway, and Hunter will probably get hurt.
