  1. Half way to double digit CWS wins all-time!!!1!!!1!! Put it on the wall.
  2. Yeah that guy was stiff af up there. No way he was ever gonna hit anything, and then you have hpu calling a strike on anything near the plate, so of course he swings at another outside strike for the K.
  3. Porn-stache guy might be a close second.
  4. Pitcher is maybe the most prototypically aggy-looking person I've ever seen.
  5. I mean if HPU is gonna give em these pitches, dude never needs to even throw it over the plate at all.
  6. LMAO DeVries. That guy is such a fucking joke. He probably should have stuck with the slow Formula E cars.
  7. Oh, I know. Still hard to get used to.
  8. Who is this guy and what has he done with the real Hunter Brown?
  9. To be a sportswriter/reporter these days, apparently the only qualification necessary is a journalism degree. Most of them know far less about the sport they cover than any serious fan does.
  10. Not just that, though. VY was getting better, trending upward statistically even in the idiotic, bullshit, conservative, utterly predictable system Fisher had him running. Even after that stint in Tennessee, based purely on what he did on the field, VY would have easily had places to go and be a star. The only reason that didn't happen is because Assface poisoned the NFL waters for VY with the bullshit about suicide and the other bs he leaked to his press buddies. Remember when one of Fisher's buddies ran the piece about VY having a losing record against winning teams? That was true, but they used it against him, spinning it as if that was a big deal - leaving out the fact that without VY, the Titans were 0-10 vs winning teams during that stint. They also neglected to mention that VY's 13-14 record vs winning teams was top 10 in the NFL for the 5 years leading up to the article. I hope there's an extra hot place in hell reserved for that motherfucker.
  11. Yeah ... had they drafted VY and let him do what VY did (get Ws), I'd have been an instant Texans fan and would probably still be one today, still buying Texans Super Bowl memorabilia, VY MVP merch, etc. Instead, they instantly alienated me. Completely. Forever. Fuck that idiotic POS franchise. I'm sure I'm not alone in all of that, either.
  12. It does not seem like it sucks. Even just spending time in the Paddock the 2 or 3 times I've been there was instantly-addictive.
  13. LOL maybe he's getting tired of everyone saying (rightfully) that "F1 needs a real American team".
  14. I agree, except it can be more exciting again, if they go to a much lighter engine formula that allows them to reduce floor/car size again. With the smaller cars, it was difficult to pass at Monaco, but it was possible and it happened. Now it's just pretty much impossible and rarely happens. And that's exactly what they're talking about doing. Even the next chassis formula is supposed to be a reduction of size. It's not a huge redutction, but it's a start. These heavy PUs and huge cars are sucking the life out of F1.
  15. I just really think that even if Checo saw him there, he never thought even KMag would try such a stupid move, because nobody passes there - for exactly this reason - and he figured he'd back out as he should. That's a crazy place to try a move. Nothing new though. KMag's always been a dumbass and a menace in a similar mold to Ocon, who also tried an unbelievably stupid move at Portier ffs. Dumbass. ETA: or just, you know, what @kevwun said.
  16. Man, I'd pay big money to see that. I'd love to see all the drivers run a kart race on a kart track for every GP. It'd be fantastic.
  17. He's been that for a long, long time.
  18. It used to happen at least some of the time, but these fucking cars are just huge. So stupid. Switching to this PU formula has screwed up the racing so many ways.
  19. I'm guessing someone called someone else a cocksucker.
  20. Wow. Crazy. Never understood why any schmoe is allowed to go drive a boat, trained or not.
  21. Yeah he hasn't been great, but he got caught in traffic like Alonso did (twice on his last lap). In Q1, the difference between P7 VER and P16 ALO was 0.3s. From P7 VER to P18 PER, it was 0.35s. The effect of the traffic was massive. I know I've said it before, but I'm tired of the clusterfuck of everyone qualifying at once, esp at shorter, smaller tracks. IMHO there was a lot to be said for the old way, where you could actually see everyone's laps, and they started with the slowest cars and built the tension as every new car that hit the track was was a little farther up the food chain than the last. It was awesome, imho.
  22. Drivers are finally lobbying for deletion of the quickest lap time for drivers who cause a red flag in qualifying. We were just talking about this on Autosport a couple weeks ago, wondering why nobody in F1 would push for it. It's worked so well for so long in practically every other racing series. https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/f1-drivers-urge-fia-to-delete-best-laps-of-monaco-red-flag-culprits/10614464/?_ga=2.174217186.137332967.1713221892-940737110.1610577366
  23. He's been being groomed for a couple of years imho to take over for Toto.
