  1. Per the Times article: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/10/05/us/politics/trump-kavanaugh-fbi.html?action=click&module=Spotlight&pgtype=Homepage
  2. She had her testimony under oath and willingness to cooperate with FBI. The only witness that can corroborate the allegation is Judge who was too busy deleting his weirdo youtube channel of him paying women to lay on beds looking lifeless. Oh, and here are the videos if you want to watch. https://judgeleaks.com/
  3. If we're going to yank the rug out on social security, the boomers deserve to be generation that eats it.
  4. Also "republicans" accusing others of being dumb voters in 2018 is an intellectual own goal.
  5. It's amazing that (((he))) also pulls all the strings in other pro-Russian failed states such as Poland. Every societal ill is blamed on Soros holding back the Law and Justice Party.
  6. Jesus, brewers.
  7. When they fantasize about military tribunals and turning the reflection pool to a giant execution pit, the base probably shouldn't get their way.
  8. First they came for the milkshakes, and I did not speak out for I am not a milkshake.
  9. No news in test on imminent military tribunals.
  10. Nothing like overmanaging in the postseason.
  11. The biggest difference to my eyes now vs. the talent in the 90's is the talent across the offensive and defensive lines (even elite recruits) seems to be worse.
  12. I'll try to explain my thoughts after having a day to digest. First of all, her testimony was hard for me to watch. My mom and wife had been victims in their life. I'd rather not go into detail, but needless to say it has changed them, and in regard to my mom and watching her deal with it, it changed me. Ford's a brave lady to come forward and testify before the whole country, and it ended up not even being taken seriously. The worst was them basically feeling sorry for her, being taken advantage of by the democrats and it being the democrats fault that this wasn't taken seriously. And that they believed her, but they thought she had the wrong guy (Ed Wheelan theory, anyone?). They made her testimony a democrats vs republicans thing which I think was just utterly disrespectful to her. Kavanaugh's opening statement also made me feel sad for him, her, America. You can tell me I don't have to feel sad for him, but I did. I guess I'm too emotionally vulnerable to follow this stuff seriously. When he broke up talking about his daughter praying for his accuser, it punched a nail through my heart. His subsequent testimony made it apparent that he was unfit for the court and likely not being fully forthcoming about the allegation. But it was gut-wrenching. Quick story. When I was in college I was a file clerk at the felony district attorney's office as I thought I may want to pursue the law at some point. We were prosecuting a ~70+ man for having sex with his 15 year old great granddaughter. It was just a file/case until it wasn't. The family came in negotiate the plea. The whole family. The accused. The victim. The accused wife, his children, etc. There were about 8 people in total. I remember seeing their faces after they finished and left the room with our assistant DA, and they all looked so broken. Just broken down and shattered emotionally. Yesterday reminded me of that.
  13. I'm with you. I feel like the whole country is morally bankrupt. It sucks.
  14. ...and all you'll have to show for it is a lousy ten commandments statue.
  15. This isn't going to magically disappear after they confirm and pound their chests for their base. And BK will wear this "acquisition" for his entire tenure on the supreme court. Their base would have been more motivated if they had withdrawn the nomination but the gutless senators are afraid of getting primaried.
  16. I hate everything about today. That's about the only thing I can be sure of. I don't find today funny, telling, or really anything. I just find it all to be pretty fucking sad.
  17. I'm glad this President is running an top secret operation to finally rid America of Moloch-worshiping child sex rings.
  18. Soros pays for each socialist post you make on Surly. I'd normally be for putting kids in cages, but I need to save for my kids' college so hard choices were made.
  19. They use them for different reasons. It's not a rubber stamp of truthfulness.
  20. You're right. Polygraph shouldn't be taken seriously.
  21. Full video. Other one cuts off right before he indicates he's not being serious. Really, quite perfect for this thread.
  22. We also showed a tendency toward qb sweep against USC on short downs. Against TCU, we showed same QB sweep action and then threw over it to CJ. It was like punishing them for watching film.
