  1. He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.
  2. Was that Connor that was getting knocked back into Dak after the throw?
  3. This is fun. But USC has some serious issues.
  4. She was the Secretary of State. The goal was to put pressure on Obama administration to back off support for Tymoshenko. Seems to fit the bill.
  5. This would be funny if true. Did Manafort get Ben Shapiro and Breitbart to write "Obama jew" piece? The same people pushing fake news and thinly veiled ethnonationalism may have been outted in today's superseding criminal information. https://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2012/10/29/clinton-ukraine-tymoshenko-anti-semitism/
  6. Probably looking for mentions of pizza and hotdogs in the indictment.
  7. Eliminate the pardon and commutation power or check it with another branch. I know that this in itself a check, but it has been abused by Clinton and Trump (about to be used to obstruct justice). The constitution also needs to explicitly state that the president is not immune to prosecution. There also needs to be a constitutional vehicle for severing criminal investigations of the executive branch from the executive branch. As it currently stands the president can murder every democratic senator in full view of Congress, serve out his term, and pardon himself before he leaves office. These conversations should have been had with Nixon, but here we are again.
  8. This whole argument reeks of totalitarianism. Read this: https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2018/10/poland-polarization/568324/ And then let's talk about government getting into private business and media to remedy perceived "unfairness".
  9. So it would make sense for Trump to leave him in some legal jeopardy. The actual pardon (the language) will be very interesting to look at as I'm sure it will be drafted by teams of attorneys from white house and his personal law firm(s). And that pardon will also be a clear signal to anyone else that is being pressured to cooperate. Side note: We need to amend the fuck out of the constitution to reign in presidential power.
  10. I doubt he's doing this for any reason other than saving the legal fees associated with the trial. He'll be pardoned, it's essentially been overtly promised through twitter. Question about proffer and pardons: If he doesn't include the details of Trump Tower meeting and Trump pardons him for the crimes the government has currently brought, can Mueller still indict on conspiracy charges related to Trump Tower meeting as they are unrelated to crimes for which he would get a pardon?
  11. Nothing to see here... https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/anthonycormier/trump-tower-meeting-suspicious-transactions-agalarov I expect that if there's a push to declassify more FISA info and smear 30-year DOJ, russian organized crime expert Bruce Ohr, we'll be seeing much more of the above.
  12. Their generation is also the only one to spit on soldiers. And this whole thing is being led by captain bone spurs.
  13. They are not conservative. But they were and are certainly "right wing". Nazism and fascism in general was a right-wing response to Communism at the time. In particular it was the fear that communism could naturally take over democracies just through voting with no revolutions needed. See Spain, Italy, Germany.
  14. I have no idea how the aggy WR didn't tear every ligament in knee on that last play.
  15. "Bring on civil war II. We will survive it." I can imagine their infantry of rascal scooters now. To my dearest Irma, I count the days until we again embrace. I so long to return to welcoming confines or the Sunshine Hills Retirement Community, but must fight the deep state, liberals, homosexuals, and sinner socialists on their ground. All my love, Cody PS Please send depends and monies from the non-socialist social security.
  16. They are not wild conspiracy theories. They're broadly reported and some even on video. "Adoptions" is code for Magnitski as that was the response from Russia to them. That's about the only jump I made as the other part (Obama's sanctions) was picked up in a fucking telephone call and Flynn lied about it. You should probably get out of your Breitbart bubble every once in a while.
  17. Why does everything in this country come down to abortion? It's so fucking tiring. We end up with this same stupid virtue signaling over arguments that have been hashed out again and again. And nobody changes their mind. Meanwhile, we have a president that most likely offered to drop Magnitski sanctions (and later sanctions related to election) on Russia for dirt on opponent, changed posture and party platform toward Ukraine invasion, gave aid and comfort to enemy at Helsinki, openly asked them to hack his opponent, and claims that he cannot obstruct justice, will not honor a subpoena, can pardon himself, and appoint his own judge. But let's rehash abortion argument again.
  18. Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. I underlined the important part there. Nobody is infringing on free speech; they are private business banning people for violating their terms of service. That is their freedom at play. I doubt the framers were torn on forcing newpapers to carry columns opining on gay frogs or alien lizard people.
  19. Since we're breaking norms now and stealing seats, the next democrat Congress and president can just raise the amount of judges and appoint two more.
