  1. Based on TV ratings for the year, I'll assume the powers that be will figure out a way for 3rd time through.
  2. I'm sure Sark, if he is being honest, knows that QE has regressed...injury or otherwise. Not having Baxter certainly limits our running against a team like Georgia. Because our defense is elite, Sark trusts QE to manage the game and minimize turnovers. We have been playing not to lose since QE came back - our defense gives us that chance against most opponents not named Georgia. And as bad a the SEC CCG was, was still had a chance to win it. Manning, in his time starting this year made some bonehead plays and some sensational plays. Yes, we would have loved to see more Manning packages inside the 25 before we got to OT, but there weren't that many true inside-the-25 opportunities and think Sark doesn't trust Manning in a big game situation to be slinging too many balls beyond RPO. Guessing we will see a number of packages for Manning in the red-zone when the opportunity presents itself.
  3. Do pros go to Starbucks before a hit? Coffee is for closers?
  4. Georgia and A&M would go to tie breaker - they only shared 4 common opponents - Miss St, Auburn, Florida, Texas If aggy lost to SCar only (since Georgia beat Auburn) - It would go the 3rd tie breaker - which is record against top teams in the standings and work your way down. Since Texas beat Aggy and Georgia beat Texas....aggy would still be out of CCG.
  5. Even if you are hosting a first round game coming off a conf championship game, you still get a bye, if you will. First round starts Dec 20/21st If you get a 1st round bye, you don't play until Dec 31st/Jan 1.
  6. Texas 26 Georgia 23 In 2 OTs Sideshow Bob goes 4/4 30 rushes for 170
  7. Texas 16 aggy 6 Will feel a lot like 1995, never in doubt...the last time we rolled in with a gimp ankled QB 199 passing yards Defensive dominates and offense does just enough.
  8. Florida was leading both Tennessee (road game) and Georgia (neutral site) at the half. They are trending in the right direction ... Will be close at half but we pull away late 31-17
  9. The simulations are merging quickly - it should be over soon.
  10. Take a look at Mac Jones highlights in the national championship game just before Sark came to Texas. Key differences from where we are now: Elite offensive line play See above now add Najee Harris...so they have a good balance The receivers on this team were off the charts elite, but not enough to really argue that we are that far off Mack Jones would step-up and had good pocket feel on when to run, Ohio State didn't really respect it, but he would rip off a few break-downs and had really good pocket sense. A lot of plays around the LOS, but because of the above, they were able to throw it deep a few times and connect. We need to run the ball better, protect better...that opens up middle and longer options more consistently. This Alabama offense looks just like us....we are just missing a few things to run it how Sark did at Alabama.
  11. Let's get to acceptance and shut this thread down....
  12. We are not eilte - this is our concern, dude.
