  2. Obviously, it's been a few years since they last stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.
  3. Tyler Guyton could hardly even see the field his first 2 years at TCU, and only started 5 games as a junior and 9 games as a senior at OU, but was still taken in the 1st round.
  4. We play in Nashville, Fayetteville, and Gomerville this year.
  5. It usually boils down to the uncle, or the trainer, or whoever it is facilitating the transaction. They will never get paid again in the future if their "client" takes the money and signs elsewhere. So the trainer exerts enough pressure on the kid with threats, innuendo, or whatever it takes to make sure that they don't sign elsewhere.
  6. I heard he got winded walking back to the locker room. Can anybody confirm?
  7. Notre Dame is also going to be looking for a transfer QB, yet again.

  14. Why is nobody talking about Will Randle at TE and Parker Livingstone at WR? Surely Randle was signed to be Arch's security blanket because of his big upside, and not just as a favor to lure Arch here.
  15. If a school is going to voluntarily join an organization (NCAA), and as part of that agree to follow their rules, then it makes no sense that a state can legislate that their member institutions don't have to abide by those rules. The schools can either follow the rules, or leave the NCAA. You can't just pick and choose which rules you are going to follow and say "Sorry, it's state law" .
  16. This is it. Soccer skills require thousands of hours of technical skill development. Like skiing or golf or playing point guard, if you don't learn those skills at an early age, it's highly unlikely you can catch up as a teen. The top pros are able to combine athleticism with that skill development. Skill position players in football need to develop some technical skills, but it doesn't require near the time (except for QB). You can teach a teen to catch the ball, but the rest is largely just athleticism (you need to be able to run fast and have lots of strength).
