  1. There was never any plan for surge pricing.
  2. My goto is Southern Germany/Bavaria/Northern Austria (Munich, Berchtesgaden, Garmisch, Fussen, Salzburg, Werfen). Then the Jungfrau region of Switzerland (Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Murren, Grindelwald)
  3. fucking youtube keeps flagging the 1st two minutes of that clip, but I upped a shitty version that might fly
  4. As mentioned, Liam Neeson has done dry comedy bits before and he's pretty fucking good at it.
  5. Holy fuck, I can't believe that's the best quality clip available. I upped a better version.
  6. I switched most of my streaming boxes over to the Onn Tv box. It's $20 and reliable. The remote will also let you control the volume and power for your Tv/receiver. Install Plex and stream from your NAS or any PC you have. https://www.theverge.com/23738980/walmart-onn-google-tv-4k-streaming-box-review
  7. Not obsolete at all. China is still producing/shipping metric shittons of devices that use mini and micro.
  8. damn, I didn't hear shit about this https://www.thestoryoftexas.com/visit/calendar/imax/dune-part-two-fan-premiere-20240225
  9. Another +1 for "buy an 85" HDTV". The only reason I don't make the switch is because I have 2 solid projector setups (120" and 100") that would cost thousands to switchover to similar size HDTVs.
  10. Are you using your keys as a fork?
  11. PADI is the 500 lb gorilla bully in the Scuba cert world. They charge ridiculous fees for everything (Put Another Dollar In) using the absolute shittiest web design/training/teaching tools out there. 5 employees can run their entire org. This is just another in a long line of PADI money grabs, the end game being to monopolize the diving cert industry and triple their ridiculous fees. They raised fees during COVID for "reasons" which were later exposed as "because every other market sector was doing it and we didn't think people were paying attention"
  12. So where are we migrating to this summer when it's 110 everywhere in Texas?
  13. Next time just google "gyro meat recipe/marinade" which normally includes garlic, oregano, cumin, marjoram, ground rosemary, ground thyme, ground black pepper and sea salt....i.e., not what you find on a Sam's/Costco rotisserie chicken.
  14. He can eat whatever the fuck he wants and call it whatever he likes....I'm merely pointing out that rotisserie chicken in a pita is not a "gyro", just like rotisserie chicken in a tortilla is not "chicken fajitas" and balled up chunks of rotisserie chicken dipped in McD's BBQ sauce is not "Chicken McNuggets"
  15. From the tards that made 47 Meters Down? Gosh, can't wait. Hoping to be shocked that they get even a single science/technology/shark scene right.
  16. There's not a hell of a lot to see/do at Eagle's Nest itself. You spend most of your time buying bus tickets, waiting for the bus, riding the bus, waiting for the elevator, etc. The restaurant up there is ok, but depending on when you go in May, it can be really cold with snow everywhere. Hohenwerfen is pretty cool and worth a drive. It was the castle in Where Eagles Dare, if your dad is a WW2 movie fan. The ice cave is about 5 minutes away and is a neat experience. 17. Rotisserie chicken in a pita is not a gyro. They've both been doing it for 15+ years.
  18. Too bad about Berchtesgaden, it's a nice area. I stayed for 3 days in 2016, then 4 days last summer. You have Eagles Nest, Koenigsee, Werfen (Ice Cave and cool castle) and Salzburg all within a 40 minute drive. Plus it's just a beautiful area.
  19. "We're not weird and we're not a cow college! Everyone respects us and wants to come here!"
  20. I would bet several shiny nickels that Kristen B is a pescatarian.
