  1. Cartel members allegedly knew these shitbags and turned them over to the policia. The cartels have zero interest in fucking with tourism. Suspect Charged for Surfers' Deaths in Baja, Cartel Claims Collaboration with Police - Surfer
  2. You have to do that for hurricanes. Stupid sip.
  3. I know, hard to believe.
  4. Sure, but that was pre-internet. Nowadays, any smart traveler or concerned friend/relative can look at an online map, read hotel/area reviews and check status on FB groups. Most don't, but it's a resource now. I just saw a post on one of my Cozumel groups from some cruise ship mutant who asked if it was safe to get off the cruise ship in Cozumel....after those murders in Baja Norte. Most of the replies were "Please don't come to Cozumel. Ever." And I partied in Matamoros over spring break twice during the killings/kidnappings. We all thought we were bulletproof.
  5. These chips are cheaper and kick the shit out of any mass produced tortilla chip.
  6. All beaches are public in Mexico. These guys were camping/surfing on a remote beach, but it was not private property. There's a dirt road that goes right to it. The shitbags who killed them were part of a known group of thieves who just wanted their tires Those shitbags used illegal guns to murder the surfers. For some reason, those shitbags ignored Mexican law. The surfers, who obeyed Mexican law and didn't carry illegal guns, were unable to defend themselves.
  7. speaking of Julio's, just bought a big ass bag after not having any for a few years. New bag design/material and it STILL fucking rips right down the middle under any amount of pressure. Still great chips though.
  8. We'll be doing some this summer when Austin turns into the 5th level of hell. Probably some of the same areas as Bob is thinking about. The CCV top has a queen size bed and the dogs have a fully padded bench area in the back.
  9. Enseneda and IM are on complete opposite ends of the country. That's like expecting lower airbnb rates in Maine after a bunch of murders in San Diego.
  10. College anti-Israel agitators could be sent to Gaza under new House GOP bill | Fox News
  11. I had one my senior year of HS. I was in a work program at a law firm and they kept me on through summer. Had to drive 20-30 minutes each way in that fucking bug, May-July, wearing a fucking suit. I had to bring a towel with me to dry off before I walked into the office.
  12. Not sure all of those are real. The Arby's ones look like generic glass ashtrays sitting on cardboard coasters.
  13. They sure are fun to drive around in Texas in August.
  14. He's also great in Cold Comfort Farm, with a young Kate Beckinsale and Ian McKellen as a deranged preacher.
  15. To me, it's like buying flavored vodka or gin. If you like the taste, why not? I like the flavor of Abandonado Extra Anejo, even though I know it has additives. I don't mix it with anything. If I'm making margaritas or ranch water, I just want a plain low additive silver tequila.
  16. The Randalls that was in my hood for 20+ years was so popular it got replaced by a Hobby Lobby.
  17. Tom Thumb and Randalls are just part of the Safeway family. Tom Thumb - DFW Randalls - Austin and Houston
  18. Did I say I was trying to pass "a car"? A caravan of 50 ft RVs is not "a car". Go drive on some 2 lane highways during the summer before you run your mouth.
  19. Not just dads, it's anyone that just spent 30 minutes trying to pass a caravan of stupid old fuckers in 50 ft long RVs driving 45mph.
  20. Maybe if you're high AF and easily amused. The cameos were cool, but not really funny.
  21. Great Clips $7.99 coupon in Austin, for those of us that just need a haircut and not a $300 perm. Redeem Now (greatclips.com)
  22. fixed for Norm
  23. I assume you mean "Unfrosted" and it's nearly unwatchable.
  24. By that logic, anything man made is "tech". So a 5,000 year old wooden spoon is "tech". We can all brag about still using our great-great-great-grandmas wooden spoon instead of the fancy new ones at Walmart.
  25. Bicycles were invented in 1817. They are not "tech"
