  1. Sayulita is about as safe as it gets in that area. You are more likely to get hurt in a bar brawl with drunk Americans than anything else. Find a surf instructor that will take you away from Sayulita centro for lessons; the main beach is fucking crowded 24/7. We like El Pescador Poke Bar on the main square https://goo.gl/maps/jnhqNEuDnVezG7bS7 For chilling with drinks/food/beach, Club de Playa Camaron https://goo.gl/maps/U7wRsiaPkSk247PX8
  2. This place is next to Chankanaab and has good snorkeling, private cabanas. https://thecabanabeach.com/ I also like Buccanos, they have a great dinner restaurant also. https://www.buccanos.com/en/activities Our main hangout for drinks/chill is usually Hemingway https://hemingwayloungecozumel.negocio.site/#menu Cerveceria Punta Sur has great pizza and occasionally good beer. https://www.cerveceriapuntasur.com/ Pescaderia San Carlos for fish https://pescaderia.restaurantwebexperts.com/ Casa Mission is a little more touristy, but they have good food and traditional atmosphere. I used to live about 100 yards from them. https://www.casamissionrestaurant.com/ I'd recommend boat tours to Isla Pasion, Cielo and maybe a walk through of San Gervasio. My old roommate Lucy has lived in Cozumel for 5 years, speaks fluent English, is a certified INAH tour guide and can arrange anything you need, if you're interested.
  3. We are staying in Wengen in June. Tons of great hiking, but looking at a map is your best option to see what works for you. Trains and gondolas connect everything here. I prefer Wengen as it's a no car village, only accessible by train/gondola. Murren is the same setup, but much smaller.
  4. Hair dryer or heat gun to melt the adhesive, wipe it off with rag/alcohol
  5. No, I wouldn't normally take interior pics unless they offer to show off their rig. The owners were pretty high/sleeping on some hammocks, so we let them chill.
  6. I parked next to this guy in Mahahual this weekend. His rig was right around $300k. Pretty cool ride.
  7. 8 balls destroyed, lost or sunk this week. Great success. PXL_20230408_134344562.mp4
  8. She's getting a sausage surprise behind one of the Babylonian statues.
  9. My girlfriend worked at Hotel B for a while, it's a good area. Let me know more specifically what you guys are looking for, I can get you hooked up for tour/dive/snorkel ops.
  10. Pretty much the same feelings here. Wanted to like it, but it was basically The Lifetime Fleetwood Mac Story.
  11. I live in Mexico. My Mexican girlfriend asked me to sneak some guns back in here on my last trip. I didn't . She wanted them for protecion. Against other super peaceful Mexicans.
  12. Which country? You don't live in Mexico anymore? 🤣
  13. The lady that owns the lake property here in Bacalar has about 20 of these raised sprinklers. I told her my crocodales were gonna park in front of them as soon as they get turned on and we might have to buy some replacements. She just laughed at that impossibility. So we're driving into town tomorrow for some replacement sprinkler heads.
  14. We'll be in Lauterbrunnen and Wengen for a week in June, can't fucking wait....
  15. We are just north of you this week, hanging in Bacalar, Mahahual and Xcalak. Gonna be windy as fuck all week. No mosquitos though.
  16. It's not even college, it's high school. The message of "just look hideous and ignore all the meanies" is fucktarded. IRL this chick would have offed herself in a week after the social media barrage she got over this shit.
  17. The last forum posts I saw from people hiking there involved being threatened by sheriffs and landowners with guns. Cool spot, but not worth the trouble.
  18. Unless something has changed recently, still nearly impossible to get to without knowing an owner, or having guns pointed at you.
  19. Is she gay? She may already have a crush on Michelle Rodriguez.
  20. I think you may be surprised if you do some testing. Here is my connection to Starlink Mexico via PIA servers. As soon as I disconnect, I'm back at around 90/90. I've used ExpressVPN and never found them much faster or more reliable.
  21. Unless you have a slow, shitty local ISP, the VPN connection will always be slower. And unless you pay out the ass for a premium high bandwidth VPN service, going through VPN servers is a bottleneck. I deal with the same shit in Mexico and PIA.
  22. AA allowed this stupid cunt to bring a 50+ pound "support" dog onboard a few years back. This pic was right after landing, during which this extremely terrified dog was running up and down the aisle.
  23. it's getting excellent reviews Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves - Movie Reviews - Rotten Tomatoes
  24. I fucking love the British Museum. My girlfriend has never been to London and it's the first place I'm taking her when we visit in May.
