  1. Antonio Coleman also on campus, per IT https://www.on3.com/db/antonio-coleman-163282/
  2. How we set up the schedule next year will be mighty interesting. Schloss historically scheduled incredibly soft in non-con at A&M because he knew 10 straight weekends of SEC play were awaiting. We already committed to the Globe Life tournament (will play 3 of Clemson, Louisville, Arizona and Okie State) and Vegas tournament (Illinois, Texas Tech, Washington). That leaves 2 non-con weekends open before SEC play. A little birdie also told me that it is looking like Arizona State will be coming to Austin for at least one midweek game. In SEC play, it's already been mentioned that we will host LSU and A&M. I'm assuming we will also host OU and will probably have Arkansas either home or away. So we get those 4 + 6 additional SEC teams. RPI ain't going to be an issue.
  3. Don’t they usually do this event at a local apartment complex pool? Picture certainly gives off that vibe.
  4. Myron Charles was scheduled to come in today per OTF but had to reschedule
  5. Trop would have had zero leverage if he returned and tried to turn pro next year. Prager still has leverage only being a redshirt junior next season.
  6. Got it. I’ll be interested to see what LSU’s class looks like at the end of the cycle. They certainly seem to be talking a big game right now.
  7. Considering we didn’t even think we were in it for Williams until 48 hours ago I’m not sure that one can be grouped in with the others. And odds are he will never play college football.
  8. Embody just put in a RPM for Williams to LSU. 60% confidence.
  9. I don’t even want to know the NIL amount they paid for a guy who was slotted to sign for around 7 figures.
  10. Big time OOS safety confirmed for tomorrow per OTF https://247sports.com/player/bralan-womack-46135637/
  11. This is huge news. 34 full scholarships coming to baseball. Going to help grow the sport even more as more HS guys will continue to bypass the draft to play in college.
  12. 10th highest SEC school despite being 19th lol. Man it’s going to be something else playing in this league. I don’t disagree with the range we are in. I wouldn’t feel comfortable putting a team without a true Friday night guy in the top 15 preseason even with the solid lineup we should have.
  13. A&M will be very good next season. I’m honestly surprised they weren’t a spot or two higher. Laviolette and Grahovac are top 10 picks in the draft. They have some question marks on the pitching side but they might have the best lineup in the country 1 through 9. 2026 is when the true Earley experience will begin. This next year will be their Mark Adams honeymoon in year 1.
  14. Jamie Ffrench is apparently going to LSU on Friday per their On3 site. Has family in Louisiana. I know Gerry previously mentioned an OV to Georgia was a possibility.
  15. So 15 current commits. Terry, Lockett, Brooks and Ffrench seem to be the guys we are trending the best with right now. That would put us at 19 commits headed into the season/September. Faraimo, Sanders and Fasusi I guess you could say we are in the fight but doesn't feel like those are trending Texas right now. Same with Tilmon based on what Gerry said today (appears to be Utah). Aidan Anding feels like a complete wildcard depending on how his LSU visit goes. I'm going to assume the class number will be 23-25? That leaves room for 3 DTs (senior evals or flips; I wouldn't think they would fill up on bread with a 4th unless the flips become out of control, just use that spot in the portal), 1 more LB and potentially 1 more DB or maybe an OT they couldn't turn down? QB, RB, TE, OL and Edge feel like they are or will be done by the time the ball kicks off against Colorado State.
  16. He had 24 AB’s in the Cape. He’ll be fine. Farmer would also be an option in CF.

  18. Trestin Castro might make some sense. OOS guy but committed to USC. Maybe they try to get one of the plan B's at WR back on campus that committed elsewhere? (Hines, McCutcheon, Johnson)
  19. Good for him. People were ready to throw him to the curb a few years ago (myself included) and he figured it out last year in a big way.
  20. 1B/DH probably if he hits. The need for Schuessler to rep at 1B probably went down with the Stewart news. Sanders can back him up and whoever hits and doesn’t have a spot in the INF can DH. There will be some good players struggling for AB’s next year. First world problems.
  21. 3B is really the only true competition I see on the position player side now. Borba and Rodriguez the two frontrunners with maybe an outside shot of Sam Richardson sneaking in if he can really hit. Whoever loses that battle is in line for DH AB's along with Schuessler.
  22. Joseph has probably gotten too much credit for his recruiting the last few cycles and Gideon has probably not gotten enough credit, which is the opposite of what conventional wisdom seems to be. Gideon has done more than Joseph in this cycle to date. The Louisiana connection is overblown for Joseph, and dudes like Jeff Banks and Sark have assisted him plenty with big-time CB targets over the years. We'll see what both do on the field this year. Guys like Gary Patterson and Will Muschamp thought highly of Gideon, which isn't everything but those dudes aren't dummies. Joseph is who he is at this point in year 18 of his coaching career.
