  1. Pretty strong first round if you aren't needing a QB
  2. Wonder what Schloss thinks about the recent juco ruling. If its applied to college baseball, and it appears that it will, its going to have a bigger impact than even NIL Big teams like Texas and other SEC teams are largely gonna be made up of 1st round prospect types and 26 year olds. MLB teams are already increasingly preferring to draft college players so these prospects will end up in juco or mid major colleges and then transfer to the SEC for their "contract" years. Kentucky always gets the top basketball one and done basketball guys, but the teams lose because they are talented 18 year olds going against slightly less talented but more experienced 22 and 23 year olds. Hurley at UConn figured it out and thrives in the new system, where titans of the old system crumbled Super interesting to think about and watch play out from a talent acquisition/identification standpoint
  3. We need two defensive tackles. That's it. Anything else is a luxury. We have until the beginning of next season to get them. And this season is still going
  4. I will say it was nice to watch a Texas game without Herbstreit
  5. The obvious question is whether Sellers is going elsewhere and it hasnt announced for whatever reason
  6. Somebody should hire the North Crowley OC. Nevermind the Asian thing, not only did North Crowley smash the state record for points, they put together an extremely impressive game plan against Westlake and went over 600 yards. Quentin Gibson went from a backup qb as a jr to turning into Antonio Brown scoring 36 tds his senior year. That's coaching. Gates has put together a hell of a staff, and is doing a phenomenal job himself. But Eli Reinhart is a rising star in the coaching ranks https://spectrumlocalnews.com/tx/south-texas-el-paso/news/2024/12/10/football--minority--asian--coach
  7. Im just gonna say that Penn St and OSU looked better than I think they actually are because it was too fucking cold for SMU and Tennessee
  8. The only player I can remember who was 100% determined to play a different position than his coach wanted that has actually succeeded is Drew Sanders
  9. Number 13 for North Crowley is a sophomore tight end looks like a dude we should know
  10. Gibson blew up this season. Went from 0 offers to what he is now, which worked out for Coach Prime. Cunningham the LB is a Horn and Turntine the tackle is our top 2026 target

  14. Pretty dumb from Riley Dodge to go for it on 4th and goal from outside the 5. Down 10 with under 3 minutes left
  15. Soph wr for Carroll is a beast
  16. Vandy up 21-7 at half. They look bigger
  17. Was also strikeout number 5000
  18. Carroll is down to their 3rd string running back, good news for them it's Terry Glenn's kid
  19. Only penalty in the game was the intentional delay of game Smithson Valley took with 30 ish seconds left. Shows the respect those refs have for Larry Hill and Randy Allen
  20. Smithson Valley qb is a damn stud
  21. God needed a leadoff hitter
  22. RIP Rickey 🥲 One of one
  23. CSB I used to be a UPS driver. Well I had never really driven a standard but I had proved myself to be a competant warehouse worker so they overlooked my struggles with the transmission during the training period in anticipation of me figuring it out and becoming a hard working delivery driver. My first day on my own was a Friday and the supervisor who trained me had off that day. Also because it was Friday the driver on the route next to mine had an early request for that day so a significant chunk of his route was shifted over to my route. No big deal I thought I'll just go deliver it. This section was right off Vickery Blvd in Fort Worth next to 183 and led to a bunch of apartments. I was coming back from that area and turning back onto Vickery when I stopped at the light short of the railroad tracks. The light turns green, I start to go, I fuck up the clutch operation and the truck dies out. Right on top of the railroad tracks. The cars behind me went around me and gave me dirty looks. Right as this happens the rail crossing lights and buzzer start going off. The arm of the railroad crossing comes down on top of the UPS truck. In front of me traffic is moving 45 mph+. Finally I get it started and in reverse and back up off the track. I could see the damn train coming. The next Monday I told this story to my supervisor/trainer. He told me to never tell anyone that story lol
