I used to have a roommate who was 10-15 minutes late to work every single day for his 7am shift. Didn't matter what time he got up, what time he pulled out of the driveway. Every morning for him was, somehow, chaos of a different breed. Fortunately, he did a good job and his work just accepted it.
He was also one of those guys that was just "busy" all the time. "I've just been so busy." That pisses me off more than anything. Fuck you. We're all busy. How about returning an email or a phone call or just participating in general friendship. Fucker...
Tacking on a celebrity-related csb:
I am acquaintances with Jon Oliva, and I have heard him tell some wacky stories about rehab. He was roommates with Ben Vereen at one-point, and Eric Clapton was in their same group. Lotsa music flowed instead of booze during those weeks.
Pity that rehab didn't seem to take much for Jon, but, that's another story.
Thank you for this. We stay at The Westin, so we spend a lot of time misbehaving at Osso & Kristalla. The staff there treat us well.
Have not ventured into Potente however. Looks incredible.
I have lived in Lufkin for 2+ years now, and I have yet to have a piece of Atkinson's candy. Hell, I have a neighbor that works at the factory.
Granted, I don't really have much of a sweet tooth, but I should remedy that...
Call one of the funeral homes that service the cemetery where his plot is. They will gladly assist you in the pre-planning and it should be a mostly one-stop-shopping experience.
Your expenses will be:
Graveside service package (may or may not include flowers). They take care of transport arrangements, SS Administration and Death Certificates (order 10 or so)
Casket
Flowers (if not included in service package)
Clergy
Headstone engraving (and purchase if not already bought).
Fairly simple if you boil it down, but also a pain in the ass if done at the wrong time.
Hope that’s a start for ya....
