  1. I need some back story. Why is the man randomly standing in the middle of the road? Where the fuck did the cow come from? Where is this place that a bull charging people in the streets is common? And why in the hell did the guy try to headbutt the bull as opposed to running or moving out of the way?
  2. Well, I only have intel i5-7300U. Witcher 3 says it requires intel pentium 4. I don't know all the ins and outs of the processors, but I'm not sure mine will be able to handle it well enough.
  3. Are you an engineer? I do the same. Going to have a better Sunday than I normally would. Hit Friday night and Saturday pretty hard on the food. Had my first beer since December Wednesday, but I actually drank 4-5 yesterday. Holy shit I’m a light weight after just a few weeks. Woke up feeling awful, but biked 60 minutes and will get in weights tonight.
  4. @ROFL BOX I have an old roof I’m trying to RE-shingle as I have time. It’s a simple gable roof with the minimum amount of slope. One piece of sheathing needs to be replaced, and there are a few spots you can see had small leaks, but for the most part the rest of the sheathing is good. How long do you think I can leave the sheathing exposed? Original roof is at least 30 years old, probably closer to 50. I ask because next weekend I’m going to have a roll off and gut the inside, and I wanted to pull the shingles as well. But I still don’t have power, and with my schedule it may take me 6 weeks to get down there (and the TWI rep) to finish it. I know new built houses go months with the wood exposed. If you have any insight, would be much appreciated. Edit - I guess another way I could attack it is to just put another layer over as there is only one layer now. I know I have to get that approved first. Who do I ask first - engineer?
  5. Concur. About every 4-5 years we have a pretty good freeze that shuts our small plant down for 24-48 hours. We get outrage and asked about winter proofing our system from upper mgmt. We say sure, it is possible, here is the price to keep us running an extra 24-48 hours out of a 4-5 year timespan (assuming equipment we use once every 4-5 years doesn’t have startup issues). Since not even our youngest employee would live to see payback, and no lives are in danger, no one wants to commit the money (rightfully so). Rinse and repeat with new mgmt in a few years.
  6. It really isn’t. Same shit we have every year. Just everyone hears everyone’s bitching about it. Last year was once in a lifetime. People need stop making mountains out of mole hills
  7. Have not played Witcher but very much enjoyed the Netflix series. I think I like some arpgs, but I’m not sure I’ve played a lot. I think I’ll give Witcher a try. Thank you!
  8. Alright follow needs, I just reinstalled Steam on my computer and need help finding a game. I don’t have a huge collection of games. When I find a game I play it a lot. Loved and played the shit of all the Diablos, Dragon age (yes, I enjoyed 2, fight me), Ff1-3 and 7, Star Ocen, Ni No Kuni, shit tons of all cid’s civilizations (probably an unhealthy amount), magic the gathering, and currently waste a lot of time playing Hearthstone. Im not much of a FPS or racing game person, Skyrim and Oblivion were kind of meh for me, although I could at least tolerate skyrim, didn’t really enjoy assassins creed 3 (only one I played), I’m always down for a Mario replay but it won’t hold my attention for 20 hours straight like a civ replay would. Alright, put all that in your algorithms and spit out a suggestion for me. In the meantime I will probably install all the updates for Inquisition from the last 4-5 years and start a replay

  10. RE: Luke In the expanded universe, the Thrawn and Jedi Temple trilogies, I thought he wrestled with it a bit. As far as this take on Luke goes, his two mentors hammered in to him attachment issues because his dad turned Vader on them due to attachments, and they were rightfully terrified he’d do the same (turned out they should have had that talk with both kids). As he is struggling to rebuild the Jedi in his own, with only the teachings of Obi Wan and Yoda plus his personal experiences, I could see him trying to over correct that direction. It is just a matter of how you tell the story of that character. I trust Filoni to mostly do that correctly.
  11. So the Andor show comes out before Ahsoka, and Rebels certainly (obviously) crossed paths with quite a bit of the rebel alliance building, something Hera seemed to be involved in. I wonder if it will be like Bobba Fett - a vehicle to move the Rebels storyline along using an established movie character to introduce to the unwashed masses the clone wars characters Hera and possibly Sabine or Zeb.
  12. Kickstarter has been around over a decade? Fuck that makes me feel old.
  13. Had my physical and respirator fit today. Technician said I could blow like not other! …wait a second… Max sure to hit the bike in addition to weights today. Save my first beer for Mandolorian tonight. This is the way.
  14. You’re old loan won’t change. Your new house shouldn’t take a rate hit because it is where you will be moving and be your primary residence
  15. I know there was a YouTube cut that deleted all Jarjar dialogue years ago. That improved things in episode 1. I thought I remember trying to find a cut version but they were all fan or spam crap. Surely there is a legit fan edited version of 2 and 3 that is only about 90 minutes long by now. Right? If not, who wants to set up the Kickstarter? eta - maybe there are enough scenes in 3 to put at the begging of the 2-3 mashup to make you feel like obi wan and anakin actually like each other.
  16. Was jk. I eat quite a bit of plain Greek yogurt myself. Makes for a nice change up, and actually taste good with some blueberries or strawberries
  17. Finally closed on the 2 cash outs. Thank you Phil, Thad and Dana! First round of hookers and blow using what is supposed to be investment money is on me. Im a bit burned out, and rather than try to find something to buy and fix up, I’m tempted to buy 2-3 SF or a smaller 2-4 plex that is already ready to rent. But that would get me back to my points earlier - it would only be investing and hoping for appreciation. Easier methods to invest.
  18. Galaxy is a big place. They don’t all have to be making trench runs on the Death Star. And really the only people that were going to be difficult were the Jedi that were supposed to have been all wiped out. But that was from Obi Wans point of view, and Filoni has already done a good job blending/weaving Ahsoka, Kanan, and Ezra in to the post prequel/preOT timeline.
  19. The kid clone would be correct age. And they used Rex at about equivalent age as the older ones in Rebels. Actually, wasn’t it confirmed that one of them was retconned in to the assault group on Endor?
  20. 199 on my weigh in at the beginning of the month. 193 today. Going to bump my weekday calories to 1650 on Monday. Will definitely be having a few beers Sunday, but I’m only going to buy singles so I’m not tempted to have one or two every night.
  21. Beacon, egg, cheese, avocado, and salsa (maybe sour cream too) wrapped in a tortilla is why America is great.
