  1. It’s both. I just go full retard when I try to hit a putt. Some pulled. Some pushed. Some way too short. Some way too long. If I’m within 20 ft, it’s almost a guaranteed three putt. If I’m 2ft to 5 ft, it’s almost a guaranteed 2 putt. It’s like a phobia now. This, and chipping, used to be my strength (as in like 2 weeks ago). I’ll try both of these drills but seriously considering left handed. I can putt just fine that way. So weird.
  2. This one is good looking. I’ll start a new thread so we quit shitting all over this one. I really like blue with gold. There are just soo many blues.
  3. All these are dead sexy. But, the martini inspired one is next level. Not sold on the targa but that’s what I would pic if I had to pic right now. It apparently doesn’t have to have a tail but I like them so it will have one. That was more of a lambo comment than anything. Just not a fan of them. I still like the F8 better than the 296 and SF90. To me, it just has better lines. Then again, I probably like the 458 better than the F8.
  4. F this game. So, I have always heard of “the yips” for putting. I thought it was just something you had on a hole or 2. I have had them the past two weeks and am petrified of putting. I’m an 11 that normally putts and chips like a 5 but drives like a 20 and now I can’t putt. Really fun part is, I am actually driving the ball well now. At the moment, I can actually put left handed with the back of the putter way better than I can right handed.
  5. Sounds like a good idea. When we get to the stage of having something substantive to add, will do that. That’s gonna be one of the harder decisions. Fairly certain it will be some form of white, blue or black. I have traditionally gone black but I have an F8 that is Abu Dhabi blue with gold wheels and it’s probably the best looking combination I have ever seen. At least to me.
  6. I don’t generally say this because it’s not my style. But, what a dumbass. I can’t imagine a single person buying a million dollar + car that needs a PPP loan to do it. But, whatever makes you comfortable. All that bullshit aside, allocation is allotted. I haven’t kept track but didn’t know they moved more from an RS style to a GT style and from naturally aspirated to turbo. But, I can see pros and cons to both. Given the choice, and one wasn’t the “OG”, I’m not sure which I would pick. Probably the RS style. Not much to share until Q1 of 25 when they will pick the donor car. Lots of decisions to be made but first is Targa or coupe. I don’t want a convertible and leaning toward a Targa. the rest of the decisions will be made on site near LA with the experts so I fully understand the options. Clearly this is a bit over the top. And, my apologies if it comes across as too much. I was just sharing because it’s been brought up before and thought you all would like to share in one of the coolest experiences of my life that only truly stupid people that are allergic to money do.
  7. Lambos are worth cheating on. They kinda suck and are meant for 25 y/o YouTubers. The SF90 is a bad mofo though. starting my singer build tomorrow at noon. Feel free to DM me any helpful tips you might have.
  8. I'l admit it...other than it being a Dodge, I like it. But, I am a 47 y/o child.
  9. Looking at the founder deal for that right now. It’s gonna be killer but a tough place to get to from Austin.
  10. I use those ones from Mission and love them. https://www.boatgear.missionoutdoor.com/collections/mission-boat-fenders-bumpers/products/sentry-boat-fenders
  11. That’s cool. Didn’t know they had already moved on from sand valley. Played Lido with Mike this Fall and was an awesome experience and he is a great dude. Definitely recommend playing one of their tracks when you have the chance.
  12. Had a quick trip to Charlotte, NC later last week and a buddy of mine got me on Charlotte Country Club. I don’t think I have ever played a club that old (built in 1911 I think) and it was unbelievably cool. One of the more enjoyable golf experiences I have ever had down to the caddy named Boxcar that had worked there 50 years. If you are around those parts, definitely worth the time. Now Chileno Bay tomorrow. I still hate golf though, lol.
  13. If you are in or near Austin, HUGE shoutout to Geromi of Boat Town. Long story short, had two families out for the first time since de-winterizing the boat. Apparently, when the person winterized, they missed emptying the strainer. So, unbeknownst to me, it cracked. took off in the boat, barely made it where I was going and there were a bunch of problems. Mainly caused by the cracked strainer. Called the local Boat Town and they said they couldn’t send someone to fix it. Called Geromi and within 30 minutes someone was there fixing it. Got it fixed and I was on my way. Truth be told I like Nautiques better than Mastercraft’s but bought a Mastercraft due to the service promised. I won’t ever buy from anyone else. Fun fact, he sold me this boat used with 20 hours on it as a favor to another customer and didn’t make a dime by selling it to me. And, this is still the service I received. Therr are still people that do business the right way and he is one of them.
  14. This has become an issue, lol. I now have 3 of them plus a new OG still sealed in the box that will stay that way on the shelf. The first one will remain decoration. The second 2, plus a lot of additional parts, will be as suped up as you can make it in this generation. I have heard about Thornhill and will probably check it out someday.
  15. Yeah, thinking about it, the sitting still comment was probably not accurate. In my mind, I was thinking sailing is chilling and casually cruising through the water. But, can certainly see there is more to it than that and it can get hairy dealing with the elements and can definitely respect it takes a lot of experience and skill. Absolutely the racing seems like a lot of work and could easily produce my favorite drug. It also seems very expensive and time consuming. (Since we are talking about passions/hobbies, just felt like writing this next part to share in case it interests anybody. Would be interested in reading y’all’s version of this) For me, I like the smell of hot brakes, fuel burning, a seat with no padding while locked in with a harness so you are part of the car, setting up the car, balancing just beyond the cars grip, diabolical qualifying laps where you get out shaking a little and think “holy shit”, laps where all sections come together, breaking into a new second you haven’t seen before, not letting the predictive lap time fuck you up, pit crew telling you what you need on a lap during qualifying and making it happen, beating the people that trained you, the nervousness when gridding up not knowing what kind of shape things will be in when you return, the way your heart pumps when watching the shoulder/elbow for the flag to drop, the initial roar when everyone steps on it, surviving that first turn, reminding yourself to breathe, drink water and lightly grip the steering wheel, the sound two cars make when they are inches apart leaving a corner and the engines sing in harmony, setting up a pass several turns before you intend to pass, defending a corner, perfectly exiting a corner counter steering and there was no more track to use on track out and there is probably a little dust behind you, standing on the brakes because you came in too hot but you made it, forcing an error on the person in front of you because you are pressuring them, flashing your lights at the person you are pressuring, seeing the white flag, the sigh of relief when you pass the checkered flag and let off the gas, the feeling during a cool down lap especially if you won or placed, pulling back into pits in one piece, comparing notes and sharing stories with the other racers afterwards especially if there was a close battle. And, most of all, that 30 minutes to an hour and a half where you can think about nothing else other than what you are doing at that exact second and maybe the next few seconds. It’s the only thing I have found so far that calms me down and clears my head. And, this is from an amateur. Just like golf, the pros are on a different level.
