  1. exactly
  2. this leaves out a lot of context. There has been such a consistent trend of situationally significant calls that go against Texas that anytime something good/great happens for Texas that my first reaction is to expect a flag .
  3. A few years ago when all of my sister's kids were attending A&M we decided to go watch a game with all of them. I had been to a couple of Kyle field games in the 90's including the 1993 game where Texas and a&m were both undefeated in conference play going in to the thanksgiving game (loud but not special) It was my wife's (no pics) first time to witness all this and she had kept hearing over and over from aggies she knew, customers etc how "epic" and "loud" it all was going to be and "OH! you have to watch the band at halftime! Don't go to the bathroom at halftime." We met some of her customers at their tailgate, they were all nice enough decent guys to host us. Listening to her recount her experience, she thought the "that's another fighting texas aggy first down!" after every first down was somehow more annoying than boomer sooner after every first down. "Sawing 'em off" 6 times a game (against New Mexico State) was gooberish but her biggest laugh is about the band and the cross t or whatever aggies call it (you know, the things that the computer program says is impossible to do or some such lore) She was thoroughly unimpressed and said she has been more entertained by high school marching bands in the past. But that is who they are. They are legends in their own mind and if the world could just experience it, they'd all awestruck by all the awesomeness that is aggieland.
  4. Rural South Texas. The taqueria is often the Burger Joint and the pancake houses. I had a pretty decent CFS at a taqueria in George West a couple weeks ago.
  5. This is what they wanted the world to see...and it's sooooo fucking lame
  6. Right? I've been wondering if his whispering is any more intelligible than his outside voice. If not, it all makes sense.
  7. They know all about the downside of stacking too high
  8. At this point, any promising up and coming coach should view that job as a career killer and I don’t know why anyone not on the coach-rehab list would consider the job.
  9. My son’s response to that screen grab after I texted it to him.
  10. This was almost prophetic.
  11. Let me help you out.
  12. There used to be a gif that showed Billy Loooochie in the mirror.
  13. Why doesn't Texas have Gymnastics?
  14. That’s not a bad price, if you’re into that sort of thing
  15. I didn’t know that, which struck as weird because if he had attended A&M there is no way they wouldn’t have let us know. Repeatedly. Over and over. According to Wikipedia, he attended Blinn College. So pretty much the same thing
  16. Did that kid even go to A&M? It says he was born in Bryan, TX looking at a list of their notable alumni, even I was surprised by the lack of non-athlete celebrities. I joked about Lyle Lovett, but the only other one I saw was Rip Torn who actually graduated fromTexas, after starting out at A&M as a corp turd. Seems like he wised up. Oh, the list also includes George HW Bush as an honorary alumn. Weak
  17. I imagine Lyle Lovett can really make an impact on these guys
  18. Do they also brainwash all their students
  19. Speaking of phlegm… can’t say I miss his longcat photo thread bombs
  20. Last time I looked at it most of the pics were no longer sourced.
  21. It’s a shame that wasn’t preserved.
  22. So I have common scale for both coaches. The big guy is like 6’6”
