  2. Shouldn’t have been. It’s part of their offense
  3. Wish I was there today. Have fun fuckers
  4. We raised a goat and she placed 2nd. Ended up selling it for a couple thousand at auction. She just never went to the meetings. PSA: Goats are the devil. Don't bring one into your world. They fuck everything up.
  5. Her freshman year in high school. My wife dragged our daughter to the FFA Club meeting after the teacher gave her and a couple of her cheer friends the hard sell on FFA. My wife and daughter walk into the school looking for the meeting. They spot a bunch of rejects and dorks sitting around in what should be the meeting location inside the cafeteria. They both, mother and daughter, keep walking like they're there for something else and find the nearest exit to the parking lot.
  6. It's not quite like that, as far as Alabama is concerned, they do offer a ton of scholarships to offset the out of state costs. They're very generous but they're not automatic. My daughter had a 3.95 gpa in high school but her school and class were very competitive. She wasn't even top 20% with those grades. My son went to UT and received exactly ZERO scholarships. Most all of those go to the "disadvantaged". At Alabama, my daughter received a merit scholarship and a couple of additional ones initially and continues to receive new ones she keeps applying. They gave her one for having "extensively traveled throughout Central America" as a kid. It helped her that she had a lot on her resume. Volunteer work, FFA, Cheer, student counsel, TOKC and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few others. The point is that is they do like students who are involved in activities that they can show they did something other than just show up or win a popularity contest (the Texas admissions people say this as well) and that is what separated her from her peers and earned her close to $100,000 in scholarships so far. Oh, and she's having the time of her life. That place parties. p.s. The 60% out of state is true.
  7. Super neato, I guess. When is the inevitable feature film coming out?
  8. Me 3. Mostly because he had blocked me on twitter years ago, I never read that site he's part of.
  9. I want to say it was maybe The Pop or a handle that is something like South Fork. I don't see them posting here much or at all anymore. https://www.nfl.com/news/nick-saban-paged-in-prank-at-austin-texas-airport-0ap2000000296259
  10. One of the most annoying things about fans of the bag money schools is their denial that they were unique in their investment, scope and organization of the bag game. The average Bama fan, for example, seems to understand that NIL is hurting their program. They get that the talent is dispersing. They just assume everyone paid under the table before and they just were the favorite payors of the players. They somehow believe this while being unable to explain how NIL is now hurting them and helping other programs.
  11. I agree that it was a blessing, butt fuck em.
  12. Dr RC will be dealt with... Someone with GIF skills put Looch's face or cartoon Clem on Donald's face
  13. I know there are some backwards hicks in the Alabama fan base and they can be awful, but the main issue is their deeply felt entitlement to win, and certainly to beat “silly little wanna-be Texas”. They do not handle losing with any amount rational measure or grace. They will get more used to losing to us.
  14. There were moments that I believed Texas did something good but the crowd cheered so loud I thought I had missed something good happening for Bama, but it was just Texas fans that numerous and loud,
  15. Sorry I didn’t spend more time with y’all yesterday. I wanted a chance to meet more of y’all, but my attention was spread thin between two other tailgates. My son went back and hung out a bit more. Thanks for hosting. Impressive turn out!
  16. This reminds me of my senior year at Canon City. There was one “black girl” in a school of about 900-1000 student. When I saw her I thought she looked maybe middle eastern or something, but everybody called her black. She could have been any ethnicity really, she just wasn’t cliche white. She got a lot of attention, mostly negative, because of that. Also, they’re kind of dicks to their Native American population. This is 30 years ago, so I’m sure they’re super receptive to Hispanics now also. And further more Susan, Casa Bonita is ass my dude!!!
  17. This is Dillards chop house right after someone started a Texas Fight chant. I don’t know them. I did meet most of them. Too much wine so I don’t remember their names and I have no idea why that guy has the horns down but like I always say, horns up or horns down, either way, that bulls is going to fuck you up.
  18. I’ve been there once, it was good, it’s probably not worth the wait. Brick and Spoon or sweet home food bar for breakfast or brunch. They’re big on brunch in Tuscaloosa on Sundays. Chicken and Waffles, Grits, biscuits…that kinda shit. Just go with it
