  1. My older sister in an aggie. All 4 of her kids are or were aggies. I remember when my oldest nephew toured they were really pitching that A&M was basically like a giant Christian school. That did appeal to my sister's family because they're missionaries.
  2. I’ll do what I can. My oldest son, the recent longhorn grad, will be there. He might be a better wingman.
  3. He’s a hometown boy and I’ve met him. I used to like him, 25 years ago, but his voice and singing style bothers me a lot now. It feels forced and formulaic, almost a caricature. p.s. I never heard that stupid Aggie song. That’s is terrible
  4. I want to see you out in front of the Phi Mu tent liquored up and making a huge scene about them stealing your tent.
  5. Sooooooo, I think I know why. I've mentioned a couple times my daughter (no pics) goes to UA on an academic scholarship. Last year her sorority was the only sorority that hosted a tailgate. The guy that organized it was another parent. He said he wasn't doing it this year, which is why The Missus (no pics) decided she wanted to line up one for us. Some time over the last 2 or 3 weeks the guy that ran the sorority tailgate changed his mind. There is an updated map now with 269D and 275D combined into 268i for the Phi Mu tent. We are in 251D so my varying levels of drunken self won't have to walk too far unless until I have to pee. So I've got that going for me.
  6. The guy saying that it was the biggest NIL package LSU ever put together and that normally "works 80% of the time" (huh?). Bullshit or not, I'm good with this narrative taking hold within the borders of Louisiana, "LSU shoots it's best 'NIL' shot ever and it's not enough when competing with Texas." Get the fuck out of our state! oh and by the way, we're still going to be drinking your instate recruiting milkshake.
  7. Was hoping y’all were near us. We are on the opposite side. Section J.
  8. One of my guesses at your name was that you were from the border town of Roma.
  9. When my daughter was in high school, she had a couple of friends with parents that didn't allow snapchat. They just delete the app and redownload it daily.
  10. Will be there with my whole family. My wife lined up a small tailgate for this game.
  11. I have a similar slotting with mine. Youngest has the requisite discipline and smarts for anywhere but we'll see. He's not even in high school yet. Oldest Graduated from Texas last year and is in grad school. Middle? Didn't even try to apply to Texas. She had a 3.9 but rankings killed her, aggy wasn't an option for her (her decision, but she did get in) so she is at Alabama on a nice scholarship having the time of her life.
  12. Oh yay! Ukraine/Russia propaganda news on the football boards.
  13. It really pains me to defend the loochdouchenozzle, but in fairness, isn't that a rough transcription of his podcast/radio show?
  14. This can't be overstated. In the case of Texas, when the top recruits in your own state keep telling you they want to play in, and then go to the SEC, you better adjust or you're going to get left behind.
  15. I know I will be. My awesome wife has a tailgate/tent lined up in the quad for the game.
  16. Land line? You truly are a dinosaur
  17. “talk about cutting off your nose despite your face.” Classic
  18. Most of the good restaurants and bars are near the strip aka the “entertainment district”. You can walk around with open containers and leave the restaurant with a drink so long as you stay in that area. My wife like this quirky little dive called Nocturnal Tavern, it’s near Rhythm and a few other bars. It’s a little hard I find but the locals will point you in the right direction.
