  1. No fans at FEC for Iowa St tomorrow. I imagine the that will stay until Travis County COVID numbers start coming down. There's only been less than 1000 fans anyway I guess.
  2. To clarify, they won 5 in a row last year to get back into tourney discussion and then laid a complete turd in the final home game getting blown out by OSU. That's the kind of thing I hope Shaka with hair can avoid.
  3. The Donald Link cookbook has one with full on fried chicken so sure. Maybe one day I’ll take the time to try it. You fry the chicken and then use that oil to start the roux.
  4. Saw Anastasis first pick and thought “here we go again..” Team not kolaches (but look great)
  5. Correct, it was glass plus the associated install cost increase.
  6. Yeah the selection in our included budget from the quote was pretty bad. Found a 2x1” mosaic for not too bad of an upgrade (what’s $1500 on top of 80k right).
  7. Just add Chick-Fill-A to the mix and we’re done.
  8. I’m drinking a beer kind of wishing I had some smoked Chex mix right now.
  9. I think we have some ranking method confusion again.
  10. Fideo using recipe from homesick Texan. Thought that was clear. I’m very white so don’t know about authentic but it was damn good.
  11. Yes, you’re clearly not at 230F or your Probe is wrong
  12. My folks finally got around to reading this weeks paper and asked me if this was the kid going to UT. 9 TDs??
  13. I'd say the Hallettsville/Schulenburg area is pretty authentic. Plus, they list the sausage ones separate from kolaches, so that makes it correct.
  14. Welcome to Surly. This argument (kolaches vs klobasnikis) comes up 3 or 4 times a year. Most people are on your side for what it's worth.
  15. Just use it as....gravy....the next time you make mashed potatoes? Add fried chicken, and profit.
  16. Didn’t Sputnik used to be closer to 10%? (No alcoholic)
  17. Crying. I looked for some subtle Kendra Scott jewelry but couldn’t find it. Part II...
  18. Hose is in the pool and a little over half way full I'd say. 11.5 weeks from start of dig so not bad. But have to wait 3 weeks before heating hot tub for pebble to cure. Still need fence repaired, Sundek surface on deck and existing patio, as well as a few other cleanup/details, and irrigation/lawn repair. Shit, typing that out seems like a ways to go yet. We took 2 months from "let's do it" to start of dig so add that as well. Will be six months start to finish once the above is done.
