  1. I believe it's on AMC's website but also check guide for replays.
  2. Glad I"m not the only one! One of our previous dogs was a Pomeranian and she was missing for 3 days. Wife was about 2 miles from our house yelling her name into a wooded area. Gave up, got back in the car and started driving home and saw her in the rear view mirror chasing after the car. Like a movie scene or something. Had some thorns wedged around her neck and we had to cut a bunch of hair to get all the stickers out. Good times...
  3. Well my little fucker showed up in the front yard a bit ago. Sure wish he could tell us why he bolted and what he did for the last 15 hours or so. Makes me feel kind of dumb...needless to say, no more yard alone time until he's bigger.
  4. This is my thought. I've seen hawks and there's an owl in the area, but I've never seen any other type of predator. Especially at 7:15pm.
  5. Thanks. Hmmm, I was in the front yard watering some plants for those 5 minutes, so don't think it was a person. Walked the wooded area behind our house and the streets again for a couple of hours this morning again. Found some interesting animal skulls and shit but no Wylie. Makes no sense how the little fucker could just vanish.
  6. So this little guy was in the yard chewing on grass, and five minutes later went out and he is gone. He's still very timid and is pretty shy to venture further out into the yard. It makes no sense. About 10 neighbors helped look for him and nothing. Could something have snached him up? I can't make any sense of it. Fuck me. If any of you live in the SW Austin Escarpment and SH45 area, please check the street and yard for this guy.
  7. Potato hash with pablanos and green onions and cilantro.
  8. Well, picked up standing floor tickets for Friday night.
  9. Where is the presale link, or is it closed already?
  10. We lost both our dogs in a two month time two years ago. Finally back to it after getting Wylie yesterday. He's mostly cattle dog. Mom is a heeler/bulldog and dad is a black mouth cur.
  11. But I don't want to be a pirate!
  12. We had a great trip. This thread needs some pics so I’ll give it a shot. Leilani’s on the Beach and Paia Fish Market were both good recs. We definitely did multiple days of just beach/pool time. We had a soft cooler bag that I filled with canned beer (surely this was against the rules but nobody seemed to be bothered). We were at the Hyatt Regency but found the pools at the Residence Club much less crowded and more kid friendly. The Marriott had a decent take-out pizza place that made for easy lunch pool-side. Ended up doing that twice due to the buy 3, get 4th free stamp card. We also enjoyed Maui Brewing Brewpub which hadn’t been mentioned. Made the walk to opposite end of Ka’anapali to Black Rock Beach on one day. Great snorkeling and a ton of fish. Hell even right out front of Residence Club we saw quite a bit of stuff if you just float around for a while. $10 snorkel mask from ABC Store worked just fine for both. For the Luau, we did the one at the Hyatt. It was just too convenient to walk right out to it. Food was pretty good, but the drinks were watered down as fuck. I had the bartender just poor about a triple shot of bourbon into a cup to make up for it. The fire dancing at the end was the highlight of the show for sure. I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Here’s the view from the Hyatt. Road to Hana was great but it’s kind of a beating to be in the car for that long. Drewlaws mentioned about driving a large SUV…well we ended up with a Infinity QX80. Not ideal but not too bad. But there was no way I was going to go around the backside with it. A few stops along the way… For the boat excursion we did have a bit of a cattle call on the Quicksilver. Tour descriptions for smaller boats all warned against people with back problems which my wife has. Well even on this one, on the ride back from Shark Fin Cove on the other side of Lanai, she hurt her back as it was really choppy. It doesn’t bother me but it was like a damn triage center on bottom/back of boat with all the people with sea sickness. My son and I had a good laugh at the fat Sooner blowing chunks off the back as we got drinks from the bar. The day my wife spent resting her back was the day I had planned for the drive up to the crater, so unfortunately we missed that. Thought about fitting it in on the way to the airport but opted for leisurely souvenir shopping in Lahaina and had some drinks/apps at Lahaina Fish Co while looking out at the ocean one last time. And Da Kitchen in Kahului was packed with a 30 min wait at 4:00. Clearly I wasn’t the only one with the idea of eating there before going to the airport.
  13. My thought exactly. I was waiting for him to spin around in the chair. "Three times around, no feet"
  14. If Comcast gets FSSW and I end up losing Spurs games, I'm going to be super ragey.
  15. Love that she felt she needed both the air dried and the freeze dried Shallots.
  16. Surely I'm not the only one that read that entire article in Tony's voice/accent.
  17. Maui and Kohono Brewing have gotten all my beer dollars this week. When we arrived a leaving couple gave us about 12 coors lights. I mean I'd drink them in a pinch but haven't needed to snap one yet.
  18. Maui Brewing pub near Lahaina. Nice spot with pretty good food and kid friendly. While waiting I ordered a Fancy Footwork and told the bartender that I've now had this at both ABW and Maui. She was all 'wow so cool, nobody has ever said that before'. Yeah me I guess. The nitro imperial coconut porter was also really good especially with dessert that was made with it. The spotlights interfered with the picture but here was the tap board.
  19. Working my way through a Maui Brewing sample pack.
  20. Man, my son played 10 or 11 yr old rec league with Baker. He was a chucker. Weird that he's now a possible one and done.
  21. I visited Hi Sign and Southern Heights yesterday. The Hi-C was my favorite. Tahitian Dream or something like that at Souther Heights was also pretty good.
