  1. Yan’s knee to the head of Sterling was bizarre. It was almost like “I’m done with this guy, screw it” and blasted him. That was awful. I was not impressed with Sterling at all in that fight though. Horrible way to win a belt.
  2. Any of you all seeing any pre-revenue companies taking a shot at PPP round 2? Obviously won’t be able to show the YOY revenue dip but wondered if they were still trying (and succeeding)?
  3. Are you getting names mixed up in your post? Buehler is the #1.
  4. Thanks for this rec. Only through a couple of episodes but really liking this far.
  5. Already mentioned but make sure you use 24 week covered period. That should definitely help given loan amount was based on a 12 week period.
  6. Never saw him in his prime other than old highlights, but I always go back to an interview I saw with Chick Hearn. The interviewer asks Chick who was the greatest center, Kareem or Wilt. Chick thinks for a second and asks back “just those two? Because I might say Walton.” When Chick drops Walton’s name I’m like “that goofy dude who can’t even run the floor? No way he touches Kareem.” So for me that was a pretty strong statement of how good Walton was.
  7. Just saw this. Absolutely loved it and will watch again. Crazy that you can have a movie with absolute hilarious pretty much throughout while delivering gut punches and such touching moments in between. Just really well done all around. Performances were great from entire cast.
  8. ETB - I appreciate your openness in this thread. A couple of thoughts, with perhaps some questions because I didn’t go back to re-read anything: 1. The church your wife and family attend has already restored the pastor who had an affair with your wife to his role as lead pastor? In a matter of weeks? Titus 1:7-9 - 7 For an overseer, as God's steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, 8 but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. 9 He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it. Marital infidelity with a married woman puts a person well outside of qualified to lead a congregation. That is often a transgression that will never restore someone to pastor. The restoration process simply to congregant (typically at another church) is a long exercise in humility and biblical counseling. You need to run (not walk) from that church. No idea where you live but if you’re having trouble locating a solid church, I’m sure folks here can point you to one. 2. As a follow to the above. Your children are minors that live in your household? Do they know what has happened? If I have the facts correct, they shouldn’t be anywhere near that church (and neither should your wife). You are the spiritual leader of the household and ultimately have the responsibility for the teaching your family is getting. If you get pushback from the in-laws, point them to the passage above and many others that discuss the qualifications for the role of pastor and ask them if that is really the type of pastor to whom they want to submit to their teaching. If their answer is yes, I suspect there are other motives for their loyalty to this church/pastor. 3. Really glad to read you are attending biblical counseling. Definitely would encourage you to continue that You are going through quite the trial. I’ll end my lengthy post with James 1:2-4 - 2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
  9. I understand he has a torn cornea but I have zero sympathy for Cormier getting poked in the eye
  10. This question is relevant to my interests as well. Would be a refi
  11. This. I also use “and the installation is freeeee” way too often.
  12. Is this info publicly available from SBA (or other)? I saw a similar number from “sources within the Administration” but would love to see something semi-official.
  13. Shockingly sounds like E-Tran was overwhelmed within minutes and shut down. Bank has been quiet as I imagine they are scrambling to get everything in subject to pacing requirements SBA tried to implement. Anyone hearing anything?
  14. Maclovio (or anyone) - you hearing the same re: E-Tran opening back up on Monday?
  15. Apparently our initial application was rejected for what our bank is telling us was a “330 error” which they can’t identify the cause of. Anyone else seen this and been able to determine the issue? They say they are ready to resubmit in this 2nd wave but don’t know if it will just get rejected again.
  16. Who do you bank with? SVB pushed back their goal of yesterday at 4pm PT and now just has “check back for updates” Anyone use a bank they don’t have an existing deposit and/or Lending relationship with?
  17. Wasn’t it like a 47-48 yard attempt?
  18. I’ve had a rough year, dad. - Chas Tenenbaum
  19. Planning a trip for next summer - back half of June. Is their a discernible difference (in terms of crowds and whatnot) if the trip extends into the first week of July? Depending on school schedules, we can do something like Jun 12-25 or Jun 18-Jul 5. This thread is awesome - thanks all.
  20. Pretty sure first two were Fast Times and Road Warrior
  21. USC lost a bunch of starters off of the 2004 defense - including DL Patterson and Cody, LB Grootegoed and Tatupu (all massive contributors) plus a couple of DBs. The 2005 defense was probably the worst defense Carroll had there - they looked mediocre all year
  22. Unreal at the buzzer!
  23. Perhaps deserves own thread but Pas Casey retired today. OSU names interim coach and will perform “real” search at end of next season.
  24. Eventide in Portland has been mentioned a few times in this thread. And for good reason, it was fantastic. We were a group of 6 and most everyone was in agreement that they liked it more than Neptune in Boston. Holy Donuts in Portland was really good. We only stopped in Portsmouth to eat dinner but what little we saw (at night) I would have wanted to go check it out again We ate at a place called Cure and 2 folks in our group thought that was the best meal they had on our trip. In Boston, Freedom Trail is a must and I would follow it all the way over the bridge to Bunker Hill monument and USS Constitution. Our other meals in Boston, unfortunately, were not well-planned so I can’t be much help with restaurants other than I did really like Neptune Thats about all I’ve got. we were there during the marathon this year and weather was brutal. Still got to Fenway which was awesome (it snowed, which was way preferable to the rain).
  25. Indeed. Lipton (played by Donnie Wahlberg). Great episode and a dude who earned (and kept earning IIRC) field promotions. Winter even had the German officer surrender his weapon to Lipton later on.
