  1. That’s cool. I suggest you do that without spreading lies and misinformation to the benefit of trump.
  2. Lulz pls read the thread before commenting. Start with the comment I was responding to. Have a good day
  3. Stop spreading lies and misinformation. Pelosi is not ok with trump’s behavior. That is dangerous bullshit. The right is pushing the divide the left narrative to get folks to stay home in 2020. You would make them proud. No matter how strong your emotions get about disagreeing with Pelosi and the majority of the House, don’t lie.
  4. The trump campaign line here is simply to get the Biden-Ukraine idea in the media as much as possible, no matter how inaccurate or baseless, so that folks will eventually start to think that corruption occurs on both sides. “It’s ok trump did something shady with other countries since Biden did something shady also. Everyone does shady stuff.” The right wing media machine and politicians will all pump this out just like they did with the Hillary corruption line.
  5. Stop spreading lies and misinformation. Pelosi is not ok with trump’s behavior. That is dangerous bullshit. The right is pushing the divide the left narrative to get folks to stay home in 2020. If anyone knows Hugo in real life, hit him across the back of the head, and tell him, “stop being a gop tool.”
  6. Negged for lying and spreading misinformation
  7. Are you unfamiliar with a two party democratic system? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two-party_system
  8. Your stance is completely disconnected from the politically reality of the US. It reeks of ignorance. So much so, that this is exactly the narrative that a right wing troll would push in left-leaning discussion boards. The US has two parties that represent two directions of the country. It always has and will into the immediate future. That is reality. Choosing to abstain from voting against trump is absolute approval of who he is and what he is doing. There is no question about it. Voter apathy is one thing and a big problem, but rationally deciding to not vote against trump is approval of what he has done and more importantly, it is also support for everything he will do from 2021 to 2024. This a two party democratic system
  9. This is a two party system. That literally is how it works. There is no falseness about it. Folks are free to pretend differently
  10. If you aren't on the left (or at least vote and support those on the left), then you are with trump and are ok with everything that he is doing.
  11. Big boy politics. Social media manipulation. Division of the left. Voter suppression. I recommend instead of buying into the division of the left narrative (which obviously is an ongoing goal of the right btw) and contemplating voting for trump that you take a breath, step back, see the big picture. Dividing the left is classic - BLM attacking Bernie (remember when that incident on stage), Bernie bros leaving Hillary, fake twitter accounts telling black folks to not vote, the Al Franken’s travesty. The seeds of all of those movements started from the right FYI. This is not different.
  12. For your sake, after trump’s dissident roundup, I hope the concentration camps will be providing feminine toiletry items. Maybe until then, you should get into recruiting
  13. This was reported by CNN on August 30th. The stated reason for holding funds from Ukraine was because Trump wanted to make budget cuts to foreign aid. Trump is concerned about our deficit folks! https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/29/politics/trump-ukraine-military-assistance/index.html?no-st=1569024017
  14. I don't think any of that info is sourced. It is times like this that misinformation campaigns ramp up. That could be to muddy the waters a bit. We had Rudy jump out and stop the slow trickle of information. We've got a likely white house official telling WSJ that there wasn't a quid pro quo. Muddy the water. Trump trying to label the whistle blower "partisan." Eventually, I suspect GOPers in the House start to parrot this. This is there standard playbook on putting out fires. There will likely be a lot more muddying and partisan labels.
  15. He/she can go to Congress but would potentially lose protections under the whistleblower act. They could be arrested, prosecuted, and lose their jobs.
  16. Everyone should read the ICIG letter to Schiff https://intelligence.house.gov/uploadedfiles/20190917_-_ic_ig_second_letter_to_hpsci_on_whistleblower.pdf
  17. It’s always good to wait and see what the facts are. Check out this article by Robert Litt, general counsel of the DNI under Obama. It’s a couple days old, but he addresses the recent happenings at the end of the article. https://www.lawfareblog.com/unpacking-intelligence-community-whistleblower-complaint
  18. I wish I was Canadian and this was the type of “scandal” that my leaders had to address
  19. That hearing was worth it just for the one sound bite. So what else do the Dems have brewing in the house? - tax returns - trump finances, deutsche bank - the DNI whistleblower - McGahn, Flynn, Cohen ??
  20. You aren’t missing anything. This is what the GOP has been doing and will continue to do until they are removed from office. The new and weird thing is that some on the left have been hooked into their narratives.
  21. Some people are speculating that the manufactured sharpie controversy is to distract from the whistle blower at the IRS.
  22. Sharpie/Alabama is just a distraction

  24. At least read the IG report before you start spouting Trump, GOP, and right wing talking points
  25. To get a solid grasp of the nuance of the IG report, folks should check out this Wittis article. The rest can be read here https://www.lawfareblog.com/what-comey-email-report-really-says
