  1. I get the sense you want an emotional win and impeachment in house would do it for you. Im afraid I don’t care about your feelings. Sorry, friend. The only thing that matters is removal of potus. Removal as fast as possible. Everything else is just a means to that end.
  2. And you very well may be correct. Impeachment in the house and failure to remove in the senate may very well increase the chance trump loses 2020. Impeachment should be based on political calculus, messaging, polling, politik. Impeachment should not be based on emotional angst and whining. The only thing that matters is whether it helps or hurts in the election
  3. So your understanding of “winning” the game is impeaching criminal potus in the house and then watch senate not remove. That isn't the game. The game is removing criminal potus from office as fast as possible. The fastest way to remove criminal potus is by him losing the 2020 election, removal by the electorate. Everything needs to be conducted and timed in a manner to maximize the potential that criminal potus loses the election. Understand the game
  4. You don’t get that, or you wouldn’t have made that comment. It isn’t clear you understand what the game actually is. What is this game you speak of?
  5. Those lazy lefties just need to remove criminal potus with a 2/3 vote in the senate
  6. I listened to a right-wing talk radio show last night during a late drive last night from fort worth to austin. Apparently when Comey was FBI director, he placed two spies in the white house. It wasn't clear how Comey did this or what the spies were doing. This is apparently a huge deal but no one explained why. The talk show host indicated he filed three FOIA requests yesterday to get to the bottom of it; however, we are going to have to wait since the FOIA process takes a really long time because the deep state always fights back. The whole thing left me with a funny and sad feeling.

  8. This is the correct answer. We need to remove the criminal potus. There is only one way to do it. Everything needs to be timed and focused on removing potus by the electorate. People on this board need to come to grips with the fact that a GOP senate is not going to remove him. Yes. It sucks that our potus is a criminal. Yes. It sucks that our potus represents the interests of his family's pocket book and the interests of other countries. Yes. It sucks that we are global embarrassment. Elections have consequences. Strap your boots. Change your panties. Cowboy up. Nobody said this would be easy.
  9. Holy shit there are a bunch of whiny bitches up in here. I hate to break it to folks but Nancy and the Dems don’t have the power to remove a criminal potus. Removal requires 2/3 of the senate and a sizable number of GOP senators to support. After watching the GOP today, does anyone think any GOP Senator is going to vote for removal? Trump isn’t being removed by the senate. Sorry folks. Trump will need to be removed by the electorate. The game is still to maximize GOP pain in 2020 by forcing them to support a criminal potus even after exposure of his financial crimes. The game will be won in the 2020 election
  10. It is fairly well documented that Fox News is propaganda for the GOP and trump. What are the solutions? Expanding the fairness doctoring to include cable news? Targeted boycotts against advertisers? Violence?
  11. Beto is just trying win over some of Trump’s base
  12. Carpet in Baizer’s photo matches Vernon’s.
  13. Lawfare is starting a new podcast that will be about the mueller report
  14. Fyi: this is all political theatre by the trump admin. Immigration is a hot button issue that motivates his mouth breathers. Keeping immigration in the news, even if they lose a fight or look stupid or ignore the SC, is still a win for this admin. Sad but true. Elections have consequences. Our consequence of electing a lying NY real estate developer who confessed to sexual assault is that we get to witness these types of embarrassing episodes. Suck it up, turn off Fox News, and vote this guy out of office
  15. Not only did the FBI break rules to get Trump, but the entire system is against Trump! Trump is just a poor victim!
  16. Bernie bro, Assange bro, guy forced by Dems to vote trump feels the best path forward is to divide the left. Shocking

  18. FYI for folks that believe the Dems are keeping trump in office: Removal of a POTUS requires 2/3 of the senate.
  19. Starters are better than backups until the starters leave and then the old backups are better than the old starters. If only we had a forward thinking DC that could anticipate who next year’s old starters are going to be so we can go ahead and replace them with this year’s backups
  20. “ As part of a series of open hearings on the Mueller Report, on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 9:00 am, the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence will hold an open hearing — “Lessons from the Mueller Report: Counterintelligence Implications of Volume 1.” The Committee will hear testimony from Stephanie Douglas and Robert Anderson, both former Executive Assistant Directors of the National Security Branch of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. As part of this series of hearings and testimony, the Committee plans to speak with fact witnesses, national security experts, and others connected to the Special Counsel’s investigation to elucidate the issues and findings in the first volume of the report. This is the second open hearing in the series; the first focused on the Kremlin’s use of oligarchs and money to influence foreign actors. A subsequent hearing will explore the facts discussed in the report about Russian intrusions into U.S. elections infrastructure. The Committee also plans to consider targeted legislative initiatives designed to respond to the counterintelligence concerns highlighted by Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. “ https://intelligence.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=656
  21. I don’t think the 30-35% of the population will ever turn on trump. I don’t think they are the audience for all this or will decide the election. It’s about trump losing the middle, the independents, and the morally straight republicans
  22. Actually, this comment is a reflection of the reason Trump might get elected. Trump has committed multiple crimes. We should not allow criminals to hold elected office. The constitution allows us to remove criminals from office through impeachment. The situation is not complicated unless you are ok with having a criminal in office. Yes. This thread is laser focused about impeachment. The thread topic is impeachment. If Pence becomes POTUS, we won’t have a criminal in office anymore. Plus, Pence is not an electable candidate. He won’t win in 2020. He would likely lose in the gop primary to hopefully a republican that better reflects US morals, Romney, McCain, type of folks. If Trump is removed trough impeachment, the US and the world would be better off
  23. - 10 counts of obstruction of justice (part 2 of mueller report) - 2 counts of conspiracy to violate election laws (payments to Stormy and McDougal) - several counts of violating foreign emoluments (he chose not to divest and is currently profiting from foreign governments using his buildings)
