Looks like we're going to get someone solid with that 3rd pick. Jace Jung, Elijah Green, Druw Jones(son of Andruw Jones), Brooks Lee and Temarr Johnson are the early top picks for next years draft. Rocker possibly too.

Except that they showed the lines when passing out the cookies and they were all pretty equal. And you don't have to be "smart" to know not to pick the umbrella if you know the game.
Yes, clearly he didn't figure out the clues. Also those cookies can come in a variety of shapes in the middle. I only really remember trying the star and circle when I lived there.

Are they added as the game is played? I only noticed them later in the show, and only saw the games that had been played appearing.
Also, how was it that only one guy knew the sugar cookie game, yet they all assumingly grew up in Korea? Seems like a small enough country there wouldn't be "regional" kids games. As far as the main characters, GiHun isn't really smart...Ali is a foreigner...the girl is from North Korea..the old man has dementia. I'd assume some of the others figured it out from seeing the shapes but that wouldn't really be shown and maybe the playground gave the indication it would be a different type of game.

Great show. Not sure why this is catching on so well with American audiences but it's a good introduction to Korean shows. My only nitpick with the show is the VIP actors. The show has some of the biggest A-list Korean actors but the VIPs were distractingly bad. It can't be that hard to find a few decent white actors in Korea at this point instead of using some English teachers. They should have just made the characters wealthy Koreans.

Lived and worked in Asia for 5 years after UT. Planning to get a long term visa in Korea or Thailand after COVID and spend most of the year hopping around Asia. Thailand has a 20 year "Elite" visa I'm looking at because they include 24 rounds of golf each year with it.

has anyone seen train to busan 2? it has a different name but I can’t remember what it is.
Called Peninsula. Huge disappointment. Skip it.

Could Ty Madden make it to the Rangers 2nd pick?

Seeing how Cuban has run the Mavericks we're gonna have Fin as the GM and Mosley/Stotts as the coach.
-
Well Rick is still under contract. Maybe we can get a pick or two from his next team If he plans on coaching elsewhere.

Luka being named Player/Coach/GM/President of Basketball Ops/Emporer
Keeping Luka happy should be the main priority for Cuban for the next 10-15 years.
Bob sounds like he sucks. Glad he's out too.

I went from Titliest AP3's to fitted PXG's 311's last year expecting a significant improvement and, while they are more forgiving, it was a nominal increase in my game at best.
How do you like the 311s? I picked up the 0211s and love them. First time playing pxg and I’ve been impressed(even thinking about picking up the st version). Scores have come down significantly but mainly due to practice and increase in playing frequency.

Snagged a sweet deal for Japan in January. Hopefully Japan is back to normal.
Deal still active?

Expecting cinematic masterpieces for these kinds of movies is your own fault.
Yeah expecting passable acting out a movie is too much.

I mean, looking back I’m not sure the acting in the first couple films was any better. Looks like they’re setting up for a pretty bad ass sequel, especially with Johnny Cage being the centerpiece of the next one. Just sit back and enjoy the gratuitous ninja violence
The actor that played Lui Kang in the first film is unmatched though.
Acting in the original MK movies were horribad too. This one was supposed to be more of a serious take with actual martial artists but the execution was underwhelming. Hiroyuki Sanada was awesome as Scorpion though.

Mortal Kombat has a roster of like 100 characters, so it was kinda lame that the main guy was created for the movie and they gave him a pretty generic power. Also kind of a missed opportunity to have Jax fight Reiko on The Pit, but not have actually have the iconic pit fatality.
The Scorpion v Sub-Zero stuff was awesome.
The CGI and costumes were generally pretty decent. Cole Young's armor that basically absorbed and reflected power like Black Panther's costume looked like something you would pick up at a flea market. How cheap that looked kept distracting me every time he was on screen.

Man I had high hopes for this one from the first 7 minutes they previewed. It turned out to be the best part of the movie. What a disappointment. Acting was horrible. In for a Subzero/Scorpion movie but the rest of the cast sucked. Pains me as an Asian to say that.

Lifted weights earlier and no soreness in arm or any side effects. Did they inject me with a placebo?
Took about 10 hours for soreness to kick in for me. Def will feel it the following morning.

The guy who created it worked on it in 2008-2009. It just sat there for 12 years.
