  1. lol my relatives in DFW and Houston.
  2. how about Afghan ballots delivered by donkey to remote mountain villages?
  3. 6 years is a long time til 2024. Maybe Cruz will retire ( I know he's young too) and Beto, only 46 now, takes it then. I've got about 20 people registered brand new, never voted before.
  4. oh and i love this part Compare that to Israel. Before he was PM, Netanyahu would be on all of the news talk shows on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News. exactly, the one sided fire hose propaganda with no opposition is EXACTLY why the American people are so brainwashed. If all they hear is one side their entire life.
  5. that news story is all over the internet, Press TV or even Haaretz. Having a Philly accent shows they are foreigners. Having a think Arab accent shows they are native peoples. No wonder they are unable to brainwash the likes of you, the language barrier. Your post is thick with racism, hatred of Arabs as inferior subhumans, so you are part of the problem. This issue is not religious, so that is another of your mistakes. For some sophisticated Arab viewpoints, go to Electronic Intifada.com ; read Ali Abunimah who is pushing for a 1 man 1 vote solution. thanks for the bump though and enjoy your ignorance.
  6. the one below was something of substance true. Also media bias of Clinton News Network although I saw it on FOX a few times but then again Bernie is to the left of HRC so they didn't run with it too much.
  7. same concept applies to 4 year high schools. So many HS grads making that a lot less meaningful.
  8. Jesus would also cut down on military spending
  9. isn't the going rate at UT $80k/ 4yrs, or more now?
  10. doesn't have to be part of Italy, but i'm glad you showed up. I need several demographics on this thread: Jewish fascists, white supremacists, Evangelical crazies and a catch-all trash category of internet douchebags, ignorants, etc.
  11. what is needed is a 2-4 year addendum to high school, owned by the government locally. Hey, that sounds like my local Community College which is financed by my property taxes. Students pay tuition though and the cost/benefit is much better than a 4 year $80k place.
  12. Russian is unintelligible in English. Anyway, style over substance, can we all acknowledge the US led corruption in Afghanistan? Under Obama's watch no less, so that should encourage a Yes from the Right.
  13. truth, we are never satisfied and keep the incumbent with rare exceptions.
  14. yeah, well i was typing fast. BTW, that wasn't the "original sentence" but the second sentence. Nerds, explain this: Ya neh poneemahyu. Your original sentence made no sense. Please review. spahceeba.
  15. so you agree with me? You should, i'm right on everything. College is much too expensive now with cost/benefit out of order. If someone wants to be an IT pro, best to have a local hometown college do the trick and no need to spend all the time to enroll at UT or A&M when the local Abilene college has the same software and a respectable staff. You live at home, don't have 80k in debt and get out at 20 instead of 22. Jobs can be local or in the big cities. The recruiters will come to you.
  16. college is overrated these days and much too expensive. A 2 year IT course or vocational training in any subject at local colleges would be much more efficient and productive.
  17. it made sense, yours OTOH, not so much.
  18. my mistake, not the US Army but the CIA (being guarded by the US Army) https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2013/04/cia-gave-karzai-bags-full-cash-over-decade/315828/ The CIA Gave Karzai Bags Full of Cash for Over a Decade Afghan president Hamid Karzai has a sugar daddy, and its name is the Central Intelligence Agency. Or at least it had a sugar daddy. Afghan president Hamid Karzai has a sugar daddy, and its name is the Central Intelligence Agency. Or at least it had a sugar daddy. For over ten years, American spies greased Karzai's palms about once a month with suitcases, backpacks and even plastic grocery bags full of cash. And not those relatively worthless Afghanis either. According to a New York Times investigation, the CIA delivered tens of millions of dollars in cash right to Karzai's office. "We called it 'ghost money,' " Khalil Roman, Karzai's former chief of staff, told The Times. "It came in secret, and it left in secret." Evidently, that's exactly what's happening in Afghanistan. "The biggest source of corruption in Afghanistan was the United States," an America official said to The Times. To give you a sense of the scale of corruption, the only other country found to be delivering bags of cash to Karzai was none other than Iran. And what do we get for all that bread? Officials on both sides say that "the agency.s main goal in providing the cash has been to maintain access to Mr. Karzai and his inner circle and to guarantee the agency's influence at the presidential palace, which wields tremendous power in Afghanistan's highly centralized government."
  19. they're corrupt mostly due to suitcases full of cash by the US army. They will be corrupt after the US leave and 1000 years from now they will be corruption.
  20. lol good one there... it truly is partisanship 100%. had Obama done something to damage farmers, we'd have a farmer rebellion in the heartland.
  21. if the US cuts off all military aid to Pakistan, this will radicalize them more, paving the way for far right religious groups to take over the Pakistani countryside or even the capital. Sanctions don't really help the cause as it makes poor people suffer while the rich elites continue their easy life of indulgence.
  22. so you want Pakistan involved or stay out of it? Since they share the ethnic group of Pashtun, and the new PM is one, I doubt they'll stay out of it. The ISI itself is highy undisciplined with rouge units doing as they please (ie hide Osama Bin Laden). The situation will be chaotic once the US leaves, only power enforces daily life, not sham agreements which are forgotten in minutes.
  23. if the US leaves, the Taliban can take kabul without much Pakistan help. There isn't much opposition outside of the US.
  24. no one has fully conquered Afghanistan, not the Mongols, Russians, Soviets (later), British, Persians, Turks or Americans. It's impressive really, Afghans are my vote for the toughest people ever - fighting off the greatest superpowers of all time.
  25. and what would these "parallel discussions" entail?
