  1. Happy fold. Sometimes drawing dead, sometimes drawing thin to chop, occasionally fading half the deck, never way ahead.
  2. And you can get them unglazed if you prefer. I got some of both and like the glazed.
  3. Wait you mean this was a dumbfuck move by dumbfucks in violation of existing Florida law? That's odd, I had it on very good authority that DeSantis is doing a great job!
  4. So the problems I see - that’s not grooming and also that definition doesn’t apply to the situations described. Other than that, you nailed it!!!! If someone tells me something in confidence I’m not pushing alienation by not sharing that. Also nothing in this thread has anything to do with “making someone in their own image”. But under your definition, a parent who takes a kid to the parent’s church and says they can’t hang out with certain friends (like *gasp*) gay ones would be guilty of grooming. Again, maybe less talky more learny for a while??
  5. Hahaha not a kick in the balls at all! Let’s wreck em up this summer!
  6. Is "my parents hate gay people" abuse that CPS will do anything about? Of course not. If we can agree that CPS can take kids away from hateful bigots, then LFG. THERE IS NO FUCKING GROOMING STOP SAYING GROOMING. You are just like the ignorant fucks that call everything SOCIALISM or COMMUNISM when you mean "things I don't like." And "just tell parents things" again you have given no exhaustive list of the "things" that parents should be told. Also, this bill has nothing to do with not telling parents things, and has to do with what is said in class. So, nope, "tell parents!" doesn't mandate this shithead bill from shitheads by shitheads for shitheads.
  7. Thanks for the info! Yeah, us walking 36 in a day, esp my dad, may have been tough anyway. I booked lodging at Bandon for the first two nights of the trip (diff room unfortunately each night), then an AirBNB for the next 4. That allowed me to make hotel guest tee times, and they let me do it under hotel guest rules for the whole trip. Current itinerary is to arrive about 3 and hopefully get out on Preserve. Then: Day 1: 950a Old Mac Day 2: 1230p Bandon Trails Day 3: 950a Sheep Ranch Day 4: 1250p Bandon Dunes Day 5: 1250p Pacific Dunes We are on waitlists for earlier times for the 3 post-noon rounds, but having talked to some people most think we should be OK getting those in, and the sunsets on the two Dunes courses are spoken of very highly. Sunset is 508p those days, so if we play in 4h 30m, should get it in right under the wire. Also on waitlist for lodging at the resort for the last 4 nights. Figure we can do Shorty's/Punchbowl/Preserve before those afternoon rounds if we don't get moved up.
  8. I’ll waste more air - telling parents every time a kid comes to another trusted adult with things like this will result in MORE suicides not fewer. There is a very obvious reason why the child didn’t want to go to the parents with this issue. We have posters here that really think their child exposed to the concept that some boys like boys is worth firing, suing, and prosecuting a person. I’m sure they would respond really well to a call that their child hates themselves because they feel like a different person inside and they know their parent hates people like that. Also - as to your point ignoring my other hypotheticals, absolutely not. This is the problem, you can’t reverse engineer policies after the fact based on single cases. You need rules, especially since you want peoples livelihoods on the line if they don’t do it the way they want. What if a teacher hears your kid was drinking and then they die in a drunk driving crash? I’m sure you’re now out for vengeance. But without an incident, you’d say “shut up and teach”.
  9. Kind of sick pride in being the measuring stick for absurd beats. This is from my playbook for sure, combo of horrific runout and questionable decisions by villain that reward them and punish us to max extent. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  10. Stop misusing grooming to support your ridiculous notions. Not telling a parent something isn’t “grooming” anyone. I posted above, so you think a parent should be told if a teacher sees Jennifer holding hands with Alyssa in the hall? What if she’s holding hands with Steve? What if the kid tells the teacher “my mom says if I’m gay she will disown me” still should go to parent? What if the teacher overheard a rumor that Jennifer had sex with someone, must share? And if rumor is false and ruins Jennifer’s life just too fucking bad? You guys come up with these asinine positions to defend against something that legit isn’t happening and CANT happen (you can’t groom someone into being gay, try learning something), that then immediately fall apart under any scrutiny (oh so we should ban teaching books if the word marriage is in them) but just triple down and pretzel yourselves into the absolute dumbest shit possible. Pass a law that says no explicit discussion of sexual topics for certain age and this is a nothing burger. But that’s not what the goal is. Cruelty and hate is the goal and that law doesn’t satisfy the bloodlust.
  11. Your brain is literally broken. For one, backwater social conservatives have directly caused the deaths of thousands of those kids with their hate but let’s laughter about it. For two, your position is that it should be easy for two married couples to all agree on another place across the country to live, no more than 30 minutes apart, with jobs in 4 different fields all found in the new area, existing pensions/retirements abandoned, while pulling two kids out of the school they have gone to their whole lives? Should be easy! And no I live in Texas, I know it’s hard to keep track of the states being ruined by 73 IQ backwater cave people.
  12. Talking about going to a parents wedding is “radical gender identity”. A book that has a man hugging a man is “radical gender identity”. Just fucking lie after lie after lie after lie after lie.
  13. What’s going on in Germany is democracy. Hitler is more popular than ever. Jews don’t like it. But they are in the minority.
  14. Exactly. Or have other reasons. My ex and I have joint custody of our kids. I’m really really tired of 73 IQ bigoted fuckshits ruining this state but can’t really leave at least until kids are college age without trying to coordinate both of our families moving, all 4 of us new jobs etc.
  15. Yeah fuck democracy for sure!! And this affects way more than transitioning kindergarteners. Don’t be a pile of shit.
  16. I’m sure you identify with the warden and are big sad about the oppression of the obtuse just so others can be free.
  17. Sure seems weird if he’s so popular and Florida so red why the intense gerrymandering.
  18. Or it’s not a narrative, it’s just ya know what the fucking bill does.
  19. So if they come up with a law that says if your skin is darker than a certain level your bail is doubled, and people call that the Bigger Bail for Blacks Bill, is that political calculations or just a descriptor of what ignorant bigots have done yet again?
  20. Yes yes that’s all well and good but you see your child simply must feel ostracized and weird and less than because if not than some people might have to explain weird concepts like “different people are attracted to different people” to their kids and reducing depression and suicide in children just isn’t worth that!
  21. Because that’s the fucking effect of the law as you illustrate by recommending books that discuss straight marriage while supporting termination, prosecution, and civil liability for teachers who mention same sex marriage. It’s not a fucking tough concept. Or are you going to argue this law was passed bc there were discussion of hetero marriage so problematic that they needed to be outlawed?
  22. One side passing a horseshit law and the other objecting isn’t “both sides making an issue”. It isn’t an issue until the law is proposed and passed, which was done by one side.
  23. And is RIDICULOUSLY unfair to teachers, as in my earlier example of "we went to Six Flags", "I went camping", "I went to a wedding" for the teacher to be expected to immediately halt discussion without hurting the 3rd kid's feelings, lest the teacher be fired, sued, and/or prosecuted because Lisa wanted to tell a story about her fucking dad's wedding. Ghouls and monsters. Look at the history books at the ugly hateful faces behind those firehoses and ask why you want to be seen exactly the same in the future.
  24. Oh, and also Six Flags, or camping trips, all that is cool too as you agreed earlier. Also this book is no good, it features married characters, too confusing for kids! Not to mention "As he returns with the dogs, he sees a heart carved on a tree with the names "Dan + Ann" " OH MY DEAR GOD HOW CAN THIS BE EXPLAINED TO CHILDREN????? The sick and truly truly sad part is that you would be totally fine with this book unless the above was "Dan + Dave" and then you would be pushing to ban it right along with the other banned books.
  25. We had wedding ceremonies on the playground in 1st grade. And so you do acknowledge that there is nothing at all odd about kids being exposed to the concept of marriage at that age. However, you have expressed opposition to them being exposed to the concept of "gay marriage" at this age. So your previously-stated position of "I don't think teachers should discuss relationships or marriage at all" is really a pretext so you don't have to admit the bigotry of you're totally fine with hetero marriage but not gay marriage.
