  1. Sweat is massive and strong looking. I can't wait to see how he develops. I'm also really impressed with how, after only one week of practice, Johnson looked better at running back than Kyle Porter ever did.
  2. Shackleford not around to direct the line might have something to do with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Not the linebackers or safeties? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Only ones who can fetch loose balls for liability reasons?
  5. Low scoring first half. Looks like ISU's offense is having some predictable first game struggles, but the defense is overwhelming UNI.
  6. It honestly might work out better for RJ to redshirt next year if both Sam and Casey come back.
  7. Looks like he would have made the first down without the dive, but when you get opportunity to dive over the line, you take it!
  8. I'd say it depends on his athleticism. If he can grow up to 300 pounds and be a better than average OT, great. If not, then he could be a massive, bull of a tight end.
  9. I can see him being a Jeff Swaim with better receiving skills. The physical tools are there.
  10. Has Herman's approach to week 1 game prep been addressed in any press conferences? Whatever he was doing the last two years did not work.
  11. It's like Strong's late recruiting surges taught us nothing.
  12. Didn't we get about half a dozen commitments/LOIs on 2016 NSD?
  13. THEY ARE STILL SCRIMMAGING?! Will Herman ever learn his lesson? Those boys could get hurt out there!
  14. Other observations: - Khalil Tate at 10 is putting a lot of faith in him bouncing back from last season. - JT Daniels doesn't appear to be the guaranteed starter at USC. - Jarren Williams who beat out Tate Martell is at 77. - Notable transfers include Brandon Wimbush (UCF) at 64, Zach Smith (Tulsa) at 57, and Kelly Bryant (Mizzou) at 29. Bryant should be a good fit for Missouri's offense.
  15. Interesting list for sure. I wonder if they will produce a list after this season to compare with. There's definitely a drop in talent in the Big 12 this year, but half of our league is in the top 26. I wouldn't be surprised to see Thomas Macvittie and Austin Kendall finish quite a bit higher. LA Tech's J'Mar Smith would be 6th in the Big 12. Based on some other things I've seen from PFF, LA Tech appears to have some talented players. Given our recent opening day struggles, I am wary to expect a blow out.
  16. I saw one of the midget running backs do something in those highlights which is quantifiable better than nothing.
  17. I'm going to wait until we find out the time table for their returns before I panic, but we really need these guys healthy.
  18. A handful of wildcat carries/play #8s a game may be the answer. Unfortunately, I think he really needs a redshirt season.
  19. I have very fond memories of visiting colleges as a recruit. You have to remember, these are high schoolers getting an opportunity to be on a college campus, get treated like royalty, and hang out with college athletes and women. I am in no way shocked or worried that the Brockermeyers want to visit several prominent universities while they get the chance.
  20. This season is Johnson and Duvernay's shot at impressing NFL scouts. I fully expect them to be locked in.
  21. Josh Moore and Whittington should get plenty of opportunities in the slot as well, but we cannot telegraph our intentions with Duvernay by only putting him in for deep routes. For the corners, reading between the lines, it seems like Jamison has the athleticism and aggressiveness that the coaches are looking for. I would be surprised if his technique is as solid as Cook's given his stint at WR last year, but he is obviously polished enough to be considered for the starting role. Things will play themselves out over the coming weeks and I trust Orlando and Herman to make the right personnel decisions.
