  1. Honest question, were Ewer’s deep ball struggles known when he was the thought of as the most flawless high school QB of all time? When did this start?
  2. Reasons for negativity: -Offensive line couldn’t move Rice -Ewer’s deep ball -general offensive sloppiness -Milroe’s running -Sark’s record in road games Reasons for optimism: -The defense -non-deep ball passing game -We know this offense can be much better -We’ll open up the playbook -Milroe’s passing
  3. McKinley is either lying about having made up his mind over a month ago or he is lying about having interest in Aggy. Either way, lying is unbiblical and I’d hate for his dishonest ass to be a negative influence on Aggy’s churchy locker room. I guess he might as well come to Texas instead.
  4. Michigan - National Champs Georgia - Runner Up Ohio State Texas If one of the top 6 PAC teams can manage to run the table in-conference (like TCU last year), that team will take the place of the Mich/OSU loser.

  6. Some of y’all have been ruminating on the same talking points for the last 4 months and it shows. 1 more week of wallowing in the unknown I guess.
  7. Tell me you don’t actually watch college football without telling me you don’t actually watch college football.
  8. It feels like every offseason I get sucked into the hype of believing that an upperclassman will finally break out. This year it is Collins, and I think it actually make rational sense. This is his “contract year” and the coaches seem to really believe in him/have specific plans for him. I’d love to see it.
  9. Not quite. He will be publicly committing to a new commitment date. New ground for Hayes Fawcett.
  10. Honestly, if he commits to Miami after allowing all the hype and angst to build up between us and swamp aggy, I will just lmao and tip my cap.
  11. Of the four games we lost in the regular season last year, two were defensive slugfests at home to teams that were just slightly better than us and two were classic Sark 2nd half collapses on the road against dangerous offenses. This year, we should cruise through our 6 home games and beat ou in Dallas. Bama will obviously be a tough defense, and our other road games could get interesting, but I don’t see how we don’t win fewer than 3 of of them. Someone please take this bottle of kool-aid from me.
  12. From the context of this thread, I assume we’re just talking regular season. I voted 10 wins, because I believe that to be our potential, but 9 or even 8 is very possible. 11+ regular season wins would be orgasmic. Assuming we play at least a total of 14 games, 9-5 would entail a rough ending to an otherwise solid regular season.
  13. Just all the more reason to pay attention to offer lists than rankings. A highly ranked class is fun for the week of signing day. A well built roster is greater fun for the other 51.
  14. Is one of our targets announcing on the 4th or did plans change?
  15. Good question. You would probably need to focus more on top 20 selections or something like that. A little subjectivity would likely also be required.
  16. It would be interesting for someone to analyze the careers of surprise first round picks to see how they pan out in comparison to the average first rounder.
  17. So in other words, they contract a case of Aggy (which is chronic, debilitating, and potentially hereditary) and are never the same. Sounds about right.
  18. He looks exactly what I would have expected for our QB in this class following Manning with under-the-radar potential. It will be interesting to see if he can take the next step this fall.
