Not exactly a big and the shooting numbers are all over the place with small sample sizes, not sure what we're doing here given what we already have.
We don't have to pretend Berke was in that much of demand, but Hoiberg does still have the credibility of being an NBA HC and Nebraska was a fine team last year. I'm sure he'll get much more playing time there than he did at UCLA. Apparently the other finalist was BYU which should tell you he wasn't exactly swimming in top 25 teams to transfer to.
They have Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper who are 2 of the top 3 recruits in the nation. That is comparable to anything Rick did on its own.
South Carolina was very good this year as exhibited by getting a 6 seed and Rutgers is clearly trying to invest in making basketball a priority. You're also not recruiting against the usual group of teams when you get to June and many teams don't have spots left. I'm not overly enthusiastic about this take but we are beyond desperate for big depth and good teams thought he was a take so I'll be cautiously optimistic. Still need someone who we can be pencil in for 20+ minutes as a big but given the options available it's not nothing.
I loved Laurel from the jump but she's had an absolutely brutal dumb meathead season and capping that off with being too scared to go in the elimination you asked for is a tough look
Especially when you could have just asked for Veronica and Flora in the elim and easily taken either out??
I'm not being facetious when I say that's probably the smartest thing I've seen an Aggie say. He's right, every athletic department is full of incomparable amounts of bloat and there needs to be reform across the country.
You're not wrong, but at the same time without another starter quality big this team simply will not matter and you've paid however much for Mark, Johnson, Pope, etc for no return. Ya you're overpaying for one player, but that one player makes the team way more functional and dangerous. Shedrick isn't exactly exactly a paragon of health and if he misses any time at all we're beyond fucked.
Gerry said yesterday that the most likely outcome is poaching a grad transfer by getting them into the portal but options will probably be slim if we're being realistic
Sorry to interrupt the circlejerk
