Laurel's a dumbass, but probably not the worst thing for Bananas to have Jordan owing him one. She also earned the tiebreaker from winning them the trivia. Also it somehow ended up with a "ceasefire" basically of trying to put everyone on the chopping block in a rotation? Glad we're not just going to see the strong players up for elim every week.
Glad we're already done with Aneesa but holy shit did Jenny try to throw that
Definitely seems like Horacio got fucked but that's Challenge production in a nutshell, there's more that Nurys posted you can see on her feed
It can definitely wait till next week but I'm side-eyeing UTSA a bit without Harris given that in their opening game they didn't exactly make a statement that they're as good as the past couple years with a 12 point win over a team in their 1st game as an FBS program
There's very obviously no shot that Norvell is fired this season after getting the "please don't leave us for Bama" extension. But there's gonna be a lot of hilarious conversations on talk radio shows if Colorado beats Nebraska this weekend that Skip Bayless has already teed up.
It does feel like some of their assistants may be on the chopping block soon though with the #1 loser being Randy Shannon, yes that Randy Shannon.
The really scary thing for them is that there's only one true game that I'm 90+% sure they win in Charleston Southern. Castellanos almost beat them last year in BC and FSU now has jetlag and effectively a short week to prepare for them, Memphis is a popular g5 playoff pick because they were legit last year, if Maalik connects on a couple deep bombs is DJ U able to play catch up? There's no way I'm picking them to miss a bowl but things could get real dangerous quickly there. Maybe if they lose a game or two they're allowed to pull DJ at least and hope one of their younger guys is allowed to throw downfield.
To be fair Finley got fucked over by Kinne recruiting a rapist over him from the portal after the great year they had so I won't really begrudge him for this specific move
Interesting to me that the only team that seems to be thinking this might actually be a team game till the end is era 1, though the "twists" every season the last few years making games individual probably cause them to think that way.
Bummed to lose Kellyanne, Nurys, and Mark but overall it does feel like most of the weaker players that were there went home which might speed the game up a bit. Leroy is so beyond washed it's insane.
Why the fuck did I unignore you
This has nothing to do with paid websites or the thesis of the thread
Tom Fornelli doesn't hate Texas
Bud Elliot doesn't hate Texas
Chip Patterson has been pretty aggressively pro-Texas
They make fun of every team across the country (most of all their own teams!) and because you're so laser focused on UT you only hear the negative and guess what? There's been a lot of negative over the last 15 years. It's really not that serious.
The editors absolutely hating episodes ending after eliminations has been absolutely brutal the last however many seasons and not even showing who is in the elimination is worse.
What's interesting to me in this situation is that Whittingham has flat out said he won't be there that much longer and they've named Scalley the successor. Obviously we've seen coaches stay beyond what was expected after naming a HCIW but surely that has an effect on some recruits?
